G-Roc Talks Lebron James Sneakers
Yes, you read the title correctly! Those are not Bo Jacksons but Lebrons in the hands of the highly acclaimed SC collector. Taking time out of the TSG office was G-Roc to roll out some thoughts with Rolling Out Magazine on the Lebron James sneaker line. In rare form was G-Roc aka Mr. Bo-Jackson Man himself, talking about something other then Bo Jacksons, a rare moment that can only be seen after the jump.
The picture alone speaks volumes of the interview on hand. G-Roc respectfully threw a Shrute Farms ”beet” down on the history of the Lebron line and gave the scoop on King James series in comparison to the Air Jordan line. A rare moment that has only yet to be captured by the Rolling Out crew that you can enjoy after the jump. Not a lot of casual appeal IMO but that Lebron shoe is one hell of a shoe to ball in. I still have my blk/wht with yellow hits LEBRON IIIs with the 2 velcro straps.

Way too many cats hate on LBJ’s line for the same reason they hate on his game. Mike was Mike and his shoe is legendary. Lebron isn’t trying to be Mike and neither is Nike trying to “top” the Jordan line. Yes, they are clearly using Lebron as their platform for innovation and design just as they did with Mike. Interestingly enough we are now seeing cross-over elements (flywire) and design cues on a number of their shoes. Since the Zoom Generation I have appreciated the line much like the Jordan line… hits and misses and YES… the VII appears to be a landmark shoe for Lebron! Good job G-Roc!

I respect your Shoe Game but I have to agree and disagree with you.
The Lebron VII is the best shoe of “his” entire line in terms of look and technology.
However, it is one the most BULKY shoes on the market. Almost not comfortable to ball in.
The ZOOM KOBE IV is and will continue to be the best basketball performance shoe Nike has to offer from last year into this year.
This isn’t player biased because I love 23 and 24 respectively…but, coming from a sneakerhead who actually plays ball and buys 3-4 pairs of basketball shoes at once(one to ball in, one to rock, and 1-2 to ice) most basketball/sneakerheads would have to concur that the ZOOM KOBE IV is the best basketball shoe on the market

The Grey and Blue Lebron 2’s in the video are the best Lebrons. Hands down. I like the Lebron 7’s, but too pricey for me.
I have alot of pairs of lebrons and Kobes and while I agree that the kobe IV is the best basketball shoe on the market, not everyone is going to be ok with the lack of ankle support that the kobe IV has. I believe whoever is saying that the Lebron VII is bulky has never tried them on for casual wear or balling because if you did that comment wouldn’t have been made. Anyway, the lebron VII is the best looking shoe of his series as far as the general releases, but Lebrons friends and family joints as well as his PE’s are crazy! If you guys were able to get some of those, I think you would like the Lebron line alot more! My 2cents

REE. I see some kicks that don’t look like ya played in em at all. Matter of fact they don’t look like they were worn for any real time if any. And you might be right with that big ass 13! LOL However, with the shoes that are out on the market I would hardly say that the Bron VII is too bulky. Besides the hyperdunk, I can’t think of a Nike shoe that is great. Hyperizes suck, Hypermaxes are heavy as hell, and kobes are too low.
