i prey tho that Nike Air does not comeback, cause if it does then all of us who broke our necks back in ’99 &’00 to get these retro’s will be all for nothin. especially the ol’ heads from back in the ’80′s & 90′s will have nothin to stand on.
so please for us ol heads, do not bring back Nike Air. neither than JB is doin ok, just calm it down a bit on all these retro re-re-re-re-releases.

Another thing that distinguishes ogs from the retroes is the drop in quality. I could careless about nike air and more about the quality and comfort of the shoes . Give us back the old quality and you call can slap a picture of MJ yelling at Xavier Mcdaniels on the back ( Now that would be cool as heck.

I’m sorry but I just don’t see what the big deal is with the grapes I love purple but it’s a cool shoe and all but I just don’t see the big deal. It was a very good interview, superb even. I would love to see the nike air come back.
I have a couple of OG’s and I would’nt feel betrayed if they start putting Nike Air back on the jays, I mean they would make a lot of customers happy and while your at it they can start cranking out some good quality kicks!!!!

What difference wld it make for all those with the OG or retro’d Jay’s with the Nike Air; it ain’t like they cld wear ‘em. Hell, I had some OG 4′s a few years ago that when I put them on and started walkin, when I looked back the out soles where on the ground from where I took my first step! And again, they’re just sneakers no matter how much we may love ‘em; just sneakers!
they should keep nike air on the OGs. people spend a lot of money and time trying to find/buy these OGs. if they slap nike air on the back it’s like a slap in the face to people who were loyal customers and spent the extra cash to get them. plus all these new kids would be bragging like their jordans are special.

8 minutes just to hear him say, “i dont know”. i been in the game for 5 years and every “rumor” came true. As for the nike air part, if i had on OG 3 with nike air on the back, i would love to see it re-retroed with the nike air. chances are those OG collectors cant even wear them because of age…
@ G-roc I know you have to be respectful because he is doing you a favor for haveing the interview. But if you ever get a chance could you ask someone like him for their side of the story when it comes to quality issues with Jordan brand.
An “OG” collector can admire the production tag inside their originals if they want to feel good about themselves having them. The whole respecting the og collector is BS anyway. They don’t give a damn about that. You wont get NIKE AIR on the retros that should have them because they don’t have to give it to you to sell. When sales weaken enough JB will play that card. Don’t hold your breathe though.
Great interview G, that mean hesitation wen the grape nd laneys were brought up was crazy, im not rele too a much a fan of the grapes,i feel is an extremely overhyped colorway, but them laneys…deffinatelyyy copped if they do decide to hit with the package, as for J.B in general, i rather have better quality retros than a high amount

Lol all these people crying to not bring back real quality air jordans with Nike Air are a bunch of fakers who are more into themselves then the kicks. I got the older jordans (bred ivs, 01 Xi breds) and I wouldn’t mind JB bringing back the original look of the shoe. The truth is most older retros crumble to shit thats why you barely see people with them on now (I still got a wearable pair of IVS but the fucking durabuck is cracking :/ So please stfu cause the only people willing to buy the new retroes that look like crappy fakes are people who are late to the scene or trying so hard to jump on a bandwagon. gtfo.

great interview G-ROC….Your the voice of the people!!!!!!…..but in my opinion when it comes to the Nike air back is a great idea and I believe that they should take it into consideration. They should realease them as a limited quickstrike with premium quality materials and an exclusive shoe box with an (og ) card. That would cause a frenzy in shoe community.

Love em, hate em, Jordan Brand obviously knows how to stay on top, and for that, all you can do is tip your hat to em and pray they drop what you want….the quality, the Nike Air on the back, whatever….in ten years people will be screaming about “man you just don’t know how GOOD we had it back in 2010″….so I’ll simply enjoy it all now and not complain too much!

i have originals and first retros with nike air. i would love to see nike air return. the 3′s, 4′s, 5′s and 6′s just aren’t the same without it. i could care less bout the effect it would have on the shoes i own. i want wearable j’s with NA!
