Gourmet introduced their brand to the world by releasing a collection of fruity colored knock-off looking Jordans last year. Sneakerheads, and more importantly Air Jordan heads caught strong feelings over their Summer 2008 collection once images hit the web. We all know sneaker brands play the copycat game, but it was something about those loud colored canvas “Gordans” that made us shoe sick. It was said that the materials were superb, and with a brand named Gourmet we wouldn’t expect anything less. Don’t get us started on the retail…
After their debut into the fashion and shoe game, Gourmet is back in 2009 with new styles for all their followers. Gourmet’s Fall 2009 collection is available to view at the Bread & Butter tradeshow. HighSnobiety gives us a quick preview and Gourmet also provided a preview. So far their ‘09 kicks are looking a lot better than last year, but we’ll let you be the judge of that!

i bet that zipper would be way uncomfortable on your ankles.
Guess they were like lets add a zipper to stay away from gettin sued by JB.
I’m actually feeling the brown zipper pair. I wonder how much though??
There looks like there is a low top brown Nike boot knock offs and a pair of 2K4 look-a-likes

Yo, G-Roc! I’m with you on that;) they are actually kindof hot! and I’m a skier so I could wear these when hitting the slope, and just zip them up when im putting on my skiboots… so snow dont get in them!
but there should be a kind of “padding” to put outside the zipper cuz I imagine that be uncomfortable…
they tried to tone down the fact that they were taking their designs straight from air jordans. but if you look at the brown pair with the zipper- take a look at the line around the side of the shoe. look familiar? -think about the shape of the patent leather on the 11’s- it;s the exact same line. it seems they havent changed their ways completely

I’m feelin the brown zipper joints. The zipper would get annoying on the ankle tho, thick socks can cure that.
