Have They Grown On You Yet?
We’ve all had a little time to let the Air Jordan 2010 design marinate. Have they grown on you yet? Do you need to see them in person? The unveiling was held last week in Miami, and did you hear about the yacht? Images of the Air Jordan 2010 hit the web shortly after the shoes were unveiled, and everyone had mixed feelings about the AJ2010. Keep in mind, the Air Jordan 2010 was made for performance. The TPU clear window is symbolic of MJ being able to see through his competition. Is it the clear window you don’t like or is it the overall design?

they coulda at least made the window SEMI transparent. Lotsa people wouldn’t have trashed the shoe then…..the overall design is only ok, but the all clear window is just horrid.

These are okay. The last Jordan shoe they made that was a classic were XIII’s. JB u need to make more color ways for the XII’s forget all these new Jordans.

These really give me a good laugh each time I look again… I’m already burning calories with these lol… Maybe they will release a few “Levolor x Jordan” “the closed’ window” pair like the earlier sample and leave some potential for pairs actually selling out before they hit sales racks. 2010′s are plentiful at the outlet and this looks like reinforcements to me… Walk up and drop retail plus tax on these? Somebody needs to lay off the loud pack at JB…

So far I have loved the Tinker and Mark videos, please keep it up. Now the second part of your marketing should be about letting every JB player wear the 2010′s on the court for the rest of the season, or at least alot of games.

Yo these are hot, just accept it. 2k9 were fire and these are hott. JB is taking it in a whole new direction we need to accept that.Its not all about retros. I Know its hard to swalllow because it marks the end of an era but thats just part of getting old. WE’re getting old!!!
danzude… I agree with you man. Way too many MoFos are hanging on to Retro’s balls like homos that they’re not seeing into the future. I’m all about that grown man look in my sneakers, and love them to preform. Mofo’s are in the shoe game for the wrong reasons if you can’t see past the fucking window of the shoe. You gotta ask yourself; if you had a big game coming up, would you wear a pair of retros’ or a pair of the newest Jordans on the court?
They look better in a couple of these pics, but I would never. Imagining how its gonna look once you have a white sock on with them. Or do you just have to roc black socks with ‘em?

question: are they trying to get rid of the “JumpMan” !?!? because its starting to appear less & less on the signature models, for example, this p.o.s. only has 1 jumpman, and its not even on both shoes just the right one…and for everybody hating on ppl who want retros, understand that if JB didnt continuously put out garbage like this, ppl wouldn’t continue to want retros all the time. kinda like how if “New Coke” was any good, ppl wouldn’t have been continuously asking for the “Old Coke” formula back, ya dig…
Marty Mcfly23, you got a point, that if the new stuff wasn’t as ugly then maybe retros wouldn’t be as hyped. But Nike and JB have been getting better as of late, and its time we all start to support the new releases. The new Lebrons, AirMax09′s, the 2010′s, hyperdunks, and the new kobe’s have been and will be winners and classics for me. And while I sound like a douche for knockin’ on retros (while still buying alot of them), all I want is the sneaker game to focus on the new New, and not the retro.

I for 1 wouldn’t dare spend $170 retail for these “jail house window” joints. Even if I had a gwuap….just my 2 cent….& $169.98 left over conservative piece of mind.
I like them, I will get them…but not for $170. Jordan Brand needs to take a long look/thought about it’s pricing on shoes these days. $170′s not gonna happen. I believe if these were like $100, I would copp on release date, but until then I will watch them collect dust just like the “Rising Sun” XII’s that released today. Nobody’s copping those either. Times are changing and so should Jordans price. I got all of the GR 2009 for less then $80, just by waiting. Matter of fact I’ve been patient on all JB releases, Nike releases and etc, because there really isn’t any point of rushing out to copp them. Even the Limited Edition releases aren’t all that limited, so no need to rush. I do like them though and have since the official pictures released, but I’m not spending retail on any Jordans these days (Except the Space Jam’s). Basically JB needs a price shake up! JB really isn’t all that exclusive/premium brand anymore; therefore they really can’t ask what they’ve been asking. The brand went from Champagne to Beer, Mercedes to Honda, Rolex to Citizen. Heck, JB needs to re-evaluate how they got there (Fusions, Too many AJ1 colorways, 6 Rings, Flight 45′s and etc.). They really need to re-focus on what made Jordan a premier brand. They’ve lost touch. The shoes don’t match the price demand. I love and hope that they/JB can pick themselves up. At one point in time in my life I couldn’t imagine passing up a Jordan release, but nowadays it’s too easy to pass up a Jordan release (and I save more money by doing so). That’s enough said. I like them, I want them but not for that price. Plain and simple.
Oh yeah, the only good thing that JB has brought to us within the past few years that I like were the Spizikes. Other than that, they can stop with the madness. Oh yeah, International Only Releases aren’t helping them either.

^^I agree with Sincere…..but I don’t see JB ever putting a stop to their retail pricepoints. For every sucker who pays $170 or more retail, myself included sometimes, it’s worth it to them, even if 70% of their stock reaches the sales racks. It still only costs them about $28 or so to make a pair of kicks, so when you grab a “bargain” sale pair for just under $100, hell, even if you get REAL lucky and find a pair for ONLY $60, they’re STILL killing it as far as profits…..and these STILL haven’t grown on me. Not one bit. I’d wear 15′s before these, and Jordan 15′s are as bad as a shoe can get…….

I heard if the window turns yellow, you can switch them out at HOME DEPOT…… If not for the window, these would actually be DOPE to me….
