So you want to be a reseller huh?
Depending on how long you’ve been reading this blog, you may or may not know that reselling is how I got started online. It’s the very thing that inspired the idea of creating this website. Long story short, TSG was originally created to be a website for me to sell shoes.
I never referred to myself as a reseller, but that’s exactly what I was. Back then, you simply just sold shoes to make money. Nowadays some people do it for money and some do it for fame. With social media being a priority in the world, the exposure of reselling sneakers is at an all time high.
Name one person who’s not interested in making legal investments, especially if it’s something as simple as buying a pair of hyped shoes and posting them for sale on social media or eBay. It’s worth a try even if your experience isn’t as successful as other’s, which explains why so many people give it a shot.
However, if you’re serious about becoming a reseller, a truly successful reseller – there’s a lot of things you need to know. I’m no longer qualified to speak on this topic – word to Beanie Sigel – because I couldn’t keep up with today’s resellers even if I tried. It’s a new day!
That said, I reached out to my fellow Atlanta native and reselling gawd 23Penny for some sound advice to share with aspiring resellers. He’s no rookie to the game, plus he’s well-known and respected so his wisdom is golden.
Take a look at 23Penny’s 10 tips on how to be a successful reseller.
