How To Remove Yellowing on AJKO’s

Many people are excited about the return of the Air Jordan 1 Hi KO, but some people were not pleased with the pre-yellowed midsole. If you’re one of those people that doesn’t like the vintage look applied to the midsole don’t worry, the yellowing can be removed. By now, you’ve probably heard that sea glow can remove the yellowing, especially if you watched the Air Jordan 1 Hi KO video yesterday. We also received a few tips from one of our readers about removing the pre-yellowing from the midsole.
TSG reader C Brown informed us that the vintage look can be removed by using soap and water, baby wipes, or nail polish remover. Although he didn’t mention sea glow, it has been said that sea glow will also get the job done.
Please share your thoughts if you have any additional info about how to remove the yellowing on the AJKO. Two colors of the Air Jordan 1 “AJKO” will be available this Saturday, March 27th for $125.
The second row shows the AJKO without the yellowed midsole. NOTE: Use the above steps or other steps mentioned in this post at your own risk!

Oh, I’ll leave mines alone… vintage look seems better!
ehh ehh ehh stop bitching yall the kicks are hot either way but if you wont the yellow threading gone… get barkeeperws friend stuff itl work i may cop a pair dnt no yet
keep the yellowing
oh suuurrre TM…before you PREFERRED the yellowing, now you “could care less”…lol. J/P. These things look dope w/ it removed… that sole looks great w/ the canvas…makes it almost a light off-white. Sucks that the doo-doo is in the threadingonthe sole though. I really like the white/red pair but can’t decide which to cop first…
I’ve also hated the yellowing on my AJKO. So ever since I’ve read this post I was pretty happy because I thought it was kinda permanent. So I took the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser and wet the corner and rubbed the midsole. Surprisingly, it was gone and my kicks look a lot better than ever. Although I won`t be doing it on the outsole. I use the Magic Eraser on all my kicks.
