over here in VA we see a lot of V’s, specifically V’s with elephant print and V fusions but there is a massive amount of 13’s in all shapes and styles like 13’s with 23 print the retro VIII aqua colors I’m telling you 9 out of 10 shoes in my school are fake as wall as air force 1’s about 2 out 5 of those are complete knock off
BTW today somebody wore yellow, black, and white air yeezy’s and was stuntin real hard about’em
I gotta be honest and say I don’t see many fakes because I work in an office, and I drive so I don’t use the subways to get around. However once in awhile I do dip into my old neighbourhood and see some crazy shit. I’ve seen Mets CW IV’s, black and white VII’s, and many CW’s of XI’s. And just to add to the ‘spotting a fake’ advice I gotta say, if a dude is wearing some OG Jordans III-VI’s in the snow, they’re fake. I saw this one dude wearing some wht/red/blk IV’s with Nike Air on the back last year, and I just had to holla’ at the kid and correct him. Oh and G-Roc I gotta ask you what’s up with http://www.jordanextreme.com it looks like the website went broke? That used to be the best place to find info and pics on authentic Air Jordans.
what cracks me up is the see thru joints, that has got to be some of the stupidest, funniest sh*t ive ever seen and its even funnier when the mofo wearin em’ argues you down that theyre real!!

if u realy wanna know if someones rockin fakes just ask where they copped at, if u love J’s then u know everywhere in your city and the closest 5 cities ta cop J’s, so when they say some guy had them for sale or some stop and go, u know the deal. and like someone else said, the COLORWAYS

The most fake j’s I see the most in Manhattan are the 3’s and alot of fusions rite now. But the bootleggers will get rid of anything no matter how ugly the fakes r.

Dude knows what’s up. I agree with his 1st rule, “know your COLORWAYS!” That’s the most obvious sign. And 2nd to me, to be honest, I can just tell by the shape of a fake shoe. Authentics have a specific shape that is engrained into my head forever; I can see an XI, or whatever, and right away tell if it’s fake just from the shape of the entire shoe. Of course the obvious little details are other big indicators too… Good vid.

cool vid, but I gotta disagree with buddy on one thing…the part when he said the clear sole should always match the clear netting. FALSE! I have a pair of authentic Fire Red’s, and my soles started to yellow about a year after I bought them; however, the netting on the side is just as icy as the day I brought them home. Anybody else have this problem?

Fakes are the worst!! Check it, I seen some 13’s with the Titanium XX3 colorway on them. I mean how you going to front like they hot!! My thing is about checking for fakes is this, real heads know the colorways of all authenic J’s that come out. If you got the right c/w and all I give you that. but if the shape of them or the lines ain’t right you can tell from the person eyes if they fakes. Trust on that!!

yea i got some green beans and black retros that did the same thing.
the way to tell if 5s are fake is the clear net on the side. real 5’s have a soft flexible side. fakes are stiff and the wholes might even look more square. also look at the tongue. real 5’s kinda bubble where the stripes are under the jumpman. fakes look flatter.

Thank you all for the feedback, I didn’t realize until today that my video’s were posted here. So thanks. To SneakerVillan pretty much every OG colorway I have, I have 2 or more pairs of them, so I keep a pair fresh and rock a pair, which was why I showed my DS Concords cause they were closer at hand. But I can completely understand how that could be misunderstood by my choice of words. Juceocean those V’s were not DS by the way, you can see slight creases in the toe on the Fire Reds and some dirt on the bottom of the black ones, I just have enough to not have to wear the same pair of shoes that often. oh my god, fake j’s are taking over the planet!!! my good buddy came to school one day with some fusion fours, with the four uppers and the forces soles, in a white, green, and yellow colorway. i HAD to call him out on it. He like wears them out like veryday to school, so the shoe is all ripped now and the soles look too small for the shoe, lol you guys gotta see them. my god, you’d think you’d be able to go somewhere not worry about getting fakes, even out here in Stockton California, but i went to a local flea market out here and saw like 5 stands that were selling kicks. i just go in there to see how good the fakers are getting. i went into one place and the dude was telling me, “yeah, them’s is the six rings. them some new exclusives” or something. the shoes had the bred colorway with like a blue jumpan. i was smh all freaking day. i even made one dude who was selling them ask me where i got my hare 7’s, lol, that day was crazy.
Another way to tell if J’s are knockoffs…
When looking at the jumpman logo, it should appear that jordan has his free hand open…not making a fist.
I was on the D train once and I saw a dude wearing green and blue 12’s. It was a sight to see.
im not really into j’z like dat(only 6 pairs NO fakes) im still a air max faithful(29 pairs)’90s an’95s mostly..but i was jus wonderin wat is “smh”..that mite be real funny to yall that im askin but im cluless..but as for fakes go..yea knowin ur colorways is half the battle
