Introducing the Nike Zoom Kobe V iD

With the year 2009 coming to an end, Nike releases one more iD model alongside the recently released Air Max 1 iD. It’s their New Year surprise that will lead into 2010. It’s the Nike Kobe V iD. Check the load of pics after the break…

Out of nowhere comes one of Kobe’s signature shoes, the V model, into Nike iD with some interesting options to boot. As you can see from the images, you get Exotic and Metallic finishes as the center of attention. You also get to choose from four graphics (big boss, kobe code, heart beat, dark city) to display on the side panel and toe box. Exotic looks like a snake skin of sorts and is on the toe tip and eye-stay. It can be presented in only four colors options, where as the metallic finish comes with ten colors. The side fly-wire panel and toe box can be colored in nine colors, accompanied by the heel in eight colors.
Next we have the midsole forefoot that has eight color options. Picking a color for the forefoot allows you, if you care too, add a speckle to the midsole in the same color (midsole only comes in black or white). The out-sole can be colorized with eight options or have a completely clear sole. Then, when you pick the lace color it will also change the sock liner to the same.
Last but not least, you get a few accent options. The color that you choose for the swoosh’s outline will also change the front tongue tag emblem. On the side of the heel collar you get to choose from two iD graphics. One is a simple two digit or two letter iD. The other is an option for a mascot. There are eighteen of them in total. You can pick from a viking, wolf, eagle, horse, pirate, bulldog and more. The last accent happens to be six characters that go on the underside of the shoe’s tongue.
These are available to order now on the Nike iD site and the Nike iD Studio. If you go to the studio, make sure to make the appointment a few days in advance.

Very nice! $165 a lot though…rather get the jordan 6s
Not feeling it.
not really feeling the materials but overall they nice and better than the 4s
if they wanna promote the ID they should at least show you the full realm of possibilities. they offer much more, yet, they show so little.
real nice. KOBE FTW.
Lebron VIIs would be soooo much better as an iD shoe
KOBE Vs are ugly.
It’s cool to have Kobe’s shoes on nike ID but they don’t even look like basketball shoes anymore. They have that general look and shape that so many low top shoes have.
