Jackie Robinson Nike Air Griffey Max Swingman Remix – Update
Last month TSG provided the net with a first look at the kicks Nike cooked up to pay tribute to Jackie Robinson. Nike used the Air Griffey Max Swingman Remix and created a beautiful sneaker for the best time of the year to break necks, Spring/Summer. All the features were listed in our previous news about this shoe, but here’s the details in case you missed it.
The kicks come decked out in the Brooklyn Dodgers colorway with Jackie’s #42 on the heel. 4-15-47 sits on the insole and the date is symbolic of the day Jackie Robinson tore down the color barrier in major league baseball, April 15 1947. For more info go here.
You can find the Jackie Robinson Griffey Swingman’s at select Nike dealers right now for a retail of $95. Kicks this fresh don’t last long.
