Jordan CP3.III Hits Stores January 2010

Jordan CP3.III Chris Paul

Chris Paul’s new signature Jordan shoe will get the JB releases ball rolling come January 2010. Just in case you forgot, TSG provided the web with the first preview of the Jordan CP3.III back in June. How quick time flies, and the official release will be here before you know it. The first Jordan CP3 III drop comes in a black/orion blue/white colorway.

The top of the upper is black suede, with a layer of etched coat-of-arms just below it complete with interlocked “C” and “P” and fleur-de-lis, the French symbol you see all over New Orleans gear (think Saints’ helmet).

The remainder of the upper is white leather with black contrast stitching, giving way to a black midsole with white speckling. The outsole has one of the most interesting herringbone layouts I have seen, arranging the standard zig-zag patterns around clusters of hexagons that recall the honeycomb pattern of a hornets nest, another subtle reference to CP3’s team. via Footlocker

The Jordan CP3 III will hit FootLocker and other Jordan Brand accounts Saturday, January 2nd. They will retail for $118.

This shoe doesn’t look that bad. My problem with it is how ugly the sole is. But you never see that part when you wear them anyway, so who cares? The design is simple, with some artistic flair. But people are so focused on the Space Jams right now, that I believe this shoe will go largely overlooked.

  3. ahhh not for $118

feels like a 22 remix but i like it

  5. Much better pictures which do make it more appealing BUT… the XXII resemblance on the midsole and heel is completely unneeded! Seriously, who at JB thought that any design cue from the AJ XXII would be a good idea to incorporate into anything?

  6. they look like blue chip 2s with sum adjustments
