Jordan Flipsyde - The Skate Sneaker
Jordan Brand will soon cater to the skateboarding community with the Flipsyde. Although OG skate heads use to skate the Air Jordan 1, this is Jordan Brand’s first sneaker ever made that’s dedicated to the skate world. The Flipsyde takes obvious inspiration from the Air Jordan 3, and JB also got advice from skaters to make sure the performance of the Flipsyde is on point. The Flipsyde will drop on July 1st.

for the right price i would cop. these dont look bad at all and its good to see jb going in a different direction. they would look better with a bigger air unti imo.

the midsole is wayyyyyyyyy to thick…i’d have to try them on but idk if i would skate in them bc that midsole looks hella thick

I would like to see what these look like with some color on them. I’m kinda diggin these. They should let me design a new color way. I would make somthing clean and nice for the summer time. Lol! Wishful thinking I guess.

I’ve seen them in person…the red and white joints are kinda iight…there like the threes but super padded…its hard to say that Jordan Brand made a bad move by jumping into skateboard kicks…remember how many people thought Nike was stupid for jumping into SB’s and now Nike SB, for better or worse, are keeping many sneakers stores in business….I don’t think just because a large corporation slaps its name on a brand, model, or culture it will sell (yes Adidas SB I’m talking to you) but Jordan Brand might be able to crossover sneakerheads in the same fashion Nike SB did….with Gentry promising fewer and fewer retros, the brand HAS to branch off right? (I mean come on how people are really copping those Jordan Team models anyway??)

On the price question there were catalog pictures and the retail price under the Jordan Flipsydes were $65 and I REALLY DO NOT MIND shelling out that much for some Jordan shit much less an actually GOOD looking shoe AND it is definitely apart of sneaker history whether dudes like them or not.
