Jordan Phyl – Varsity Red/White
The Cement Jordan Phyl’s made Friday’s news, and they were released at select accounts in limited numbers. With only a few days down the line, we report on another Jordan Phyl aka Jordan Fly colorway. They feature a varsity red and white make up. The Jordan Phyl was made to pay homeage to MJ’s High School coach “Pop Herring”.
Coach Clifton “Pop” Herring and MJ had a special relationship, and this was the same coach that cut Jordan from the Laney High basketball team during his Sophomore year. PH cut MJ from the team in 1978, and MCMLXXVIII (1978) is featured on the heel.Â
According to the catalog, this Jordan Phyly colorway is set to release April 1st. Although we don’t know if it’s an official release date, some shops have already received their shipments. Check with your local Jordan Brand accounts for more info.
For all the Jordan Phyl fans out there. A red colorway that reminds me of the motherloving Red Supreme Blazers

Mickey the other pairs said RARE AIR because they were limited. Most RARE AIR Jordan stuff is super limited; Black Laser Jordan IV and Laser Jordan V. Both RARE AIR, so I’m pretty sure that’s why the Cement Phyl’s said RARE AIR.

There was supposed to be 10 stores that got them…the word that I got from my JB connects is that the 18 UBIQ released were not intended for sale. When I gave them the item number it doesn’t even come up in there computers. I’m assuming that since everyone is talking about them ,and getting crazy prices on ebay (just sold mine for $350) we should see them pop up at the local fav’s (Supreme, NikeTown NYC, Undefeated, ATmos etc)…If I hear anything else ill shout out…
