Jordan Take Flight Gets Cement Makeover
The Jordan Take Flight will make its debut Holiday 2010 in a number of colorways. In addition to the previous Jordan Take Flight colors, we just got word that the Take Flight will be offered in black/cement and white/cement. This news should not be shocking because Jordan Brand has placed both cement colorways on several Jordan models. It just so happens that the Jordan Take Flight was next in line to get a cement print makeover. Both Jordan Take Flight Cement colors will release next month. Retail, $150.

Cement Makeover…on a new shoe already…ALL BAD! It’s acceptable on the Cp3.3 due to the tribute pack…but this “THROCKEY” (GARBAGE). And its sad cause I actually like this sneaker…in certain colors.

I’m going to be honest here… I LIKE THIS!!! Jordan made a big-man kick and I think the cemelephant print works great on these! It doesn’t work on everything eventhough JB tends to try (the CP3 III Tributes are tuuuhhhhhhrrrrrriiibbble with it… and without it). I’m not sure why they chose to “cage” the air-max unit unless it was literally to avoid a complete copy-cat of the Nike max models!?!?

There you go… I like them both a lot! Will I buy? Probably not since I’ve got some Lebron VII’s but you just never know when kicks get cheap enough on the clearance racks!!!
PPPFFFFTT!!!!!……hating these but LIKING the CP III’s, which I think SUCKED, I just can’t understand anyone taking that angle. These are SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTH!! The white pair will be mine for sure.
C’mon fellas these aren’t bad. The white/black/varsity red ones are at Finish Line and I can’t lie…they look good as hell up close. Plus those white/varsity red/cement ones are pretty clean too. Definitely a ballin’ shoe! These are better than those horrible CP3s! All I need to see is these in a white/carolina blue CW

$150 Ha what a joke, I wouldn’t be suprised if retro prices went up to the $200 mark.

I agree with 4DRUMZ. I think so many JB are just so Puritan in their perspective, they can’t appreciate versatility and trying some different. As someone is new to Jordans (I know, I know), I think these are dope shoes. The cement print can’t be used on everything, but it works here. And although the silhouette does remind me of a AJ2 or a Lebron, it still is good looking sneaker that will make a lot of younger cats (or folks like me who are new to Jordans) appreciate the brand and continue to buy Jordans. Believe it or not, a lot of younger kids think that OG Jordans are for old people. True, they’re not sneakerheads, but they do buy sneakers…LOTS of them. They’re dollars and opinions certainly affect what JB puts out.
It seems like JB uses the cement print as a way to try and bail themselves out of a crappy shoe. it’s almost as if they are trying to please both the sneakerheads and your everyday shoppers, and in the process pleasing nobody. “ok we’ll add a lil bit of this, throw in an air bubble…oh and lets throw some cement print on it too! the kids love that”
I’d cop on clearance. They should take the bars off of the air capsule tho. Let that shyt breath SON!
the white and cement are nice, but i have my eyes on the “Cranberries” right now maybe later.
^^ Yea i’ll take those whit/cements… but the black/cements look a bit dingy…. I would have liked them better w/ just a gray stripe vs. elephant make-up..
