Gone is 60 seconds.
Nike surprised everyone last night in true quickstrike fashion.
We don’t get quickstrikes like we used to, but maybe things are about to change. Last night Justin Timberlake debuted a slightly different Air Jordan 3 White/Cement.
At first I thought it was the Dunk Contest version, but I saw a Swoosh on the side during Justin’s Super Bowl halftime performance. A few minutes later I saw a close-up photo of JT’s shoe.
Turns out my eyes are perfectly fine because the shoes have a Swoosh on the side. It’s an official collaboration between JT and Nike designer Tinker Hatfield.
After the photos surfaced, Nike announced the shoes were releasing last night via SNKRS app. Let’s just say they sold out before you could even load the app.
Word is somewhere around 500-ish pairs dropped last night. This is not confirmed info, but I wouldn’t be surprised if more pairs release during All Star Weekend.
And if you’re lost (I was at first) why the shoes were photographed in the woods it’s because JT’s new album is entitled Man of the Woods.
Were you able to get a pair?
