I’m not trippin on the price and neither should u guys. Sure I like the sneakers but hey there to expensive, who cares? And y should u Kanye said hisself the Louis were for people on the High End tip of Fashion and the Yeezys were for the more common consumers. The only ones I liked anyway were the all red dons. And it’s cool it just means more money for Jb who has steped it up of late for the most part and Nike kicks. Now I’ll just sit back and wait for more concrete news for the Yeezys.

I doubt kanye had a large role in the prices, he designed the shoe, he’s not distributing it. As much as I like these though, Id rather have unkles and supremes then some clean shoe that wont even crack necks

These sneaker are priced for the high end customer who buys 1000+ pair of jeans, 400+ dollar shirts, 3000+ dollar suits and 1200+ shoes (not sneakers, but dress shoes). Its not aimed at the casual buyer. If you are a collectors of sneakers though, you might want to pick a pair up (but I don’t think he priced them for collectors either)
I think everyone should remember those Prada shoes at 300-500 dollars that Fila duplicated and NYC’s Canal Street faked. Many a person got those, but I am sure many of them did not pay 300+ dollars for the real Prada boat sneakers.
I highly expect fakes of these in high schools everywhere.

the only reason people are tripping is because these are the only high end sneakers that every one knows about. Lanvins, Rick Owens, Raf Simmons, Yeves Saint Laurent, Maison Martin Margiela all have sneakers that start at around $500+ and sometimes go over $1000, a true sneaker head knows more than just Jordan and NIKE SB

thats not the point…European sneakers have a certain simplicity, craftmanship, and good leather that make them cost more then your average sneaker…Price points start at $300 and up…These start at $800..thats stupid…There is no way anyone can justify to me a pair of kicks that cost, no resale, no markup, $1000…RETAIL!!!Thats Stupid..

i agree $1000 is a lot for sneakers but i would rather pay $1000 for sneakers because of craftsmanship than because someone camped outside a store for some limited edition sneakers that originally cost $100-$200 people are paying over 1500 for the premiere jordans

You’re paying for the LV name, plus the Kanye Hype, so I can see where the price point comes from, but I don’t see myself buying these. I like LV wallets, Visvim Kicks, and other high end stuff that always costs me +$500, but these ain’t cutting it.
