LE Air Jordan XX3 ATL Camp Out Line + Interview
Lines for the limited edition Air Jordan XX3 (23) is crazy all over the US, and TSG was on hand yesterday at Walters Atlanta. We captured footage of the dedicated and determined Air Jordan fans that started lining up on Wednesday, January 23rd. With cold temperatures and no warm beds, the die-hard fans were willing to camp out and have faith that they wouldn’t leave Walters empty handed.
Only two stores on the southern East Coast had the privilege to stock the LE XX3’s, Walters (Atlanta) and The Shoe Game Gallery (Miami). People in the line right now are reppin Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, and more! As I spoke with the friendly ATL line, I discovered some pretty interesting info. The person with the most interesting story was none other than Mr. “23″ in line. This guy is serious! Check out the vid as I interview the “potluck” 23rd person in line. NOTE: All footage was recorded on 1/24/08 1:00pm ESTÂ at Walters Atlanta. The Jordans will be released to campers at approximately 8:30am, 1/25/08 for the suggested retail of $230.

My bad ya’ll, this was suppose to get posted yesterday around 6pm, but I was having problems with the video footage. I almost messed up the entire interview and I was heated.
Now at 5:20am, just a few hours before the release, the Atlanta limited edition XX3 footage is posted and brought to you by TSG.
The people were real cool and hats off to Mr. 23 for making that longggggggg trip. I would NEVER make that move, never, but it’s all on you. On the flip side that tent looks like a telephone booth…lol
Congrats to everyone that got a pair. Expect these bad boys to sell for $1000-$1500 for 1st couple of days…Yikes!

In other AJXX3 news: I can’t say the stores name, but I heard a store sold all 23 pairs to 1 person for a large amount. IF that’s true, that’s crazy and IF that’s true more details will surface soon on the net. IF that’s true, oh boy is all I have to say about that…
That’s what it’s all about right there! The shoe is dope no doubt, but add a 19hr drive, a camp out, etc…..they all add to the experience! Cats who cop em off Ebay won’t appreciate em NEARLY as much as that dude…..

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I thought ya’ll would like this, esp after all the hype around the XX3’s. IMO it’s always nice to see what the energy and crowd was like, so how could I not report on my hometown “ATL”.
Dus – Actually NO pairs went out the back door. Jeff sold every pair to the people in line for retail, gotta love Walter’s retail prices. Put it like this Dus, Street called and he wouldn’t even hold a pair for him. YES, they told Street no!

Allow me to answer that, the seller can cancel bids at any given time, and the buyer can also retract bids. Most of the time sellers don’t won’t people with 0 feedback or negative to place bids unless they contact them 1st.

Off topic but those dragon AF1’s are on kix-files right now for 300 + (exact price varies depending on the size). Biggest size in stock right now is a 10. I check that site daily and they got some heat in today.(Yi Jian Lian) AF1’s(rookie chinese power forward for milwaukee)…didn’t even know those existed before today.

it was a campout line in every city. this release goes down in sneaker histrory. i dont think its ever been a release where everyone camped out. the atl line was looking real chill. great post none the less and keep giving us the good news g.

The Downtown Locker Room in Columbia, MD did us wrong!!! I waited for 3 days at the mall in Columbia, MD and was the first to start a line for the much anticipated Air Jordan XX3 kicks. On the morning of the second day in, I met some people who were dedicated to camping out for the Air Jordan XX3 kicks like myself. We decided to make a list and added names to it as people joined our camp. We had a completed list of 23 names early Thursday evening. I presented the list to the manager of the Downtowon Locker Room store and told him about the 23 of us that had been there for days waiting for a chance at the Air Jordan XX3. He took the list, but made no promisses that it would be honored. Later that evening before the mall closed I spoke with the district manager of the Downtown Locker Room and he assured me that what they had planned would be fair and that a lottery would not happen. At 2:00 am Friday morning, we all were told that there would be a lottery for the Air Jordan XX3 and by now there’s about 200 people waiting outside of the mall entrance. Some time between 7:30 & 8:00 am the lottery was held and not myself or any of the 23 people on our list received a pair of Air Jordan XX3. THANKS to all of the 23 people that waited for hours like myself for the Air Jordan XX3! I will NEVER shop at the Downtown Locker Room store after this because of this.
