The Nike LunaRacer- a Nike performance innovation that first debuted in Fall 2008 makes a return in the Nike Sportswear LIVESTRONG Collection. Brought to life in Nike’s Innovation Kitchen, the Nike LunaRacer is as much a revolution in running as it is a race day performance running shoe.
The Nike LunaRacer brings together two technologies, Flywire and Lunarlite foam, designed for today’s best athletes, creating a distance running shoe that is lighter, stronger, and faster than anything Nike has previously created in the distance running category. The lightweight Flywire upper and the Lunarlite foam both contribute to the total weight of the shoe: 5.5 ounces.
This Nike LunaRacer was specifically constructed for the Nike Sportswear LIVESTRONG branded product and proudly boasts the LIVESTRONG colorways. 100% of the proceeds of this shoe will go back to the Lance Armstrong Foundation. Mann, only big cities get sneaker love and more importantly new york and cali only get the realllll love. It sux to see a shoe you love sooo much only to realize you won’t get it cuz it costs 3 times over retail from some loser who doesn’t have a job who can wait in line for days over exclusives.
