Thanks for sharing Marcus… sorry that a lot of people are gonna hate on you out of their own jealousy! By in large it seemed like a marketing campaign but it’s cool that he’s willing to share. Do you think he chose to be the son of the GOAT? No, just let him be a kid and respect him for having such a high interest in the game. He genuinely appreciates his kicks!

Well to me, if he was a little more grateful and understood the fact that he’s only getting all these PE’s because his dad is Michael Jordan.
That’s just me.
If he came out with videos just showing his collection of PE’s then I would say, “Oh wow, he’s got some crazy kicks. No one can touch this guy ever on Jordans.”
But instead, his first video is “YOU AINT GOT THESE…..I GOT THESE NIGGA…I GOT THESE 4 YEARS AGO…YOU AINT GOT THESE, YOU AINT GOT THESE, YOU AINT GOT THESE.”
Just know that he’s not a sneaker head, a collector or even a hype beast. He’s never had to read about a pair of kicks and wait for them to release, go to the store and buy them.
Just from the sole fact that he didn’t even know what that he was holding a pair of Premier Fusion 3’s shows he’s got no idea what JB is doing and probably knows nothing about kicks for that matter.

On another note, MarJ is a prime example of why JB is coming out with the Fusions.
The people who hate Fusions are the one’s who’ve seen MJ play since ‘85.
The people who like Fusions are the younger kids who didn’t follow MJ’s career, or was not old enough to appreciate the magnitude of MJ for the game of basketball.
Most kids today never experienced “watching MJ playing, in his new 8’s, and getting their first pair of Jordans”.
In 20 years Retro’s won’t be worth anything because the only one’s who will be willing to pay $3,000 for an O.G. pair of J’s will be out of the shoe game because they’re just simply too old, supporting a family, ect ect.
You’ll still see kids saying “Oh man those 8’s are crazy!!” But they won’t appreciate the 8’s like we did when they first came out.
I work at a retail store, we have J’s.
Kids that come into the store don’t even know which # goes with with J’s. Instead of calling them the 8’s, kids call them “Bugs Bunny’s.” Only because their parents call them Bugs Bunny’s.
JB will still be coming out with new shoe’s and PE’s for superstar athletes but the only superstars kicks that are worth buying and saving have their own line (Kobe and Lebron).
Kids these days will be watching Kobe and Lebron and they will grow up and want to buy retro’s of Zoom Kobe’s or Zoom Lebrons.
Kids idolize the players they’re watching and will want to “Be like Kobe” or “Be like Lebron”. In 30 years, no one will want to “Be like Mike” anymore.
Marcus please man, your mjs son. you have the world in front of you, im sure you went to the best schools money can buy. yet you use slang language and say the word nigger without thinking about all the hardship it has caused. Talk with dignity, dont try to be a gangster or talk like bow wow. Your father is respected more for his personality than his game, you should keep that legacy going. kids will look up to you much more if you do.

JB is catching that and making Fusions.
And also, Fusions are made so that they can draw a bigger number of consumers. AF1’s are generally comfortable, and J’s are fashionable.
You wear J’s on the court. You wear AF1’s on the street. Well there’s a bigger market of people “on the streets” than there are “on the court”.

But then again I suggest you to stop making these videos and let your shoes do the talking like if you’re wearing them on court or off court. You’re Dad was never like this period.
I don’t think he’s showing off…..he’s just showing what few people will see, let alone own…..PE’s like that are few and far between, so if pics/vids of em never came out, we’d never know they existed and/or be able to appreciate em. I think he’s showing them shoes almost as a favor to those of us who’ll never be able to get em ourselves…..
And it’s way better watching a video like this, rather than some 12yr old kid showing off 15 pairs of Supreme SB’s that he got with his daddy’s credit card, just to be a f***ing show off…..

^FRANK^ Well thought out on the future of the “retro” game! Which, shouldn’t change us at all unless we’re DS’ing to resell. If that’s the case, most of us don’t have much respect for ya anyway! This is exactly why we have to be a little more open to where the game of basketball is going as well as where the shoe game is going. Otherwise our kids will think we’re just some stuck in the mud “J-Heads”!

I feel you on that whole process but me as a 17 year old i know more about j’s then any of these young cats out here i mean i came to school one day i had on a pair of 19’s and a kid asked me are those the new fusions that just came out…… made me upset but hey they didnt know a *@*& thang…but i got some friends that are around my age that can tell you the history about every shoe that came out under JB….
And personally i sreally stopped liking most of the concepts after tinker left the company he had great influeces on most of these shoes now a days some of these designers are making them just for the hell of it… I heard(this might be wrong) that MJ dont even look at half of the desgins until they are finished but that;’s just a rumor
And far as the fusions i agree completlty on why they’re made becuase they want some kind of jordan that is casual in a way but still made for basketball….even tho they are messing up the classics because it makes me sick. Now i cant like i have 2 pair of Jordan 3 fusions but i wore them once and never wore them again…
