  1. this is what i like to see on my Mon. morning!! cant wait g that room looks tempting.

  2. *Speechless* I deeply admire this cat for his taste, dedication and standing in the game.

Hey G-Roc…can you do a Q&A one of these days so heavy-hitters can answer some questions about their collections & collecting in general…such as:

1 - What are the methods of storage (when you have hundreds of kicks)
2 - Address the insurance issue.
3 - Are the kicks designated in any living will? (This is no joke since serious collections are valued @ 5-6 figures they are considered an asset just like cars, houses, etc. in the event of an untimely demise)

Okay, that’s all I can think of …looking forward to the MAYOR’s collection :-)

  3. wow… can’t wait… I always like watching show me your kicks. I used to store my kicks in ziploc and tupperware too… but I find the basement is the best place to store mine now. Its cool, dry, without changes in temperature, dark and easy to hold many shoes.

  4. All I can say is WOW!!!!!! CHECK OUT MY EBAY AUCTIONS MY EBAY TAG IS sneakerfreaker06

  5. Looking forward to it

  6. Can’t wait to see this. nikeindabutt, As far as insurance with me, I checked with my home owners insurance and I was told I’m covered up to $300,000. If I needed more than that, I could add a bigger policy. I have even took extra steps and photographed every pair, that goes along with everything of value in my house.

  7. Thanks dj.jbras…I was told to just add them to homeowners insurance as well…wondering if it will be necessary to provide receipts also in the event they are damaged/destroyed.

  8. Collecting is for losers and lames lol…Wear your shoes!!!!!! Don’t put em in a case and just look at em my dude….wtf is wrong with people these days…I remember when we use to get kicks because we actually liked em so much and we had to wear em asap.

  9. Wow dude’s stuntin af1s & dunks like a mofo. Wonder if he uses silica gel packs cuz I do. Damn yal put yal kicks in your insurance? I’m only renting so I can’t hate. I do have a ADT & a mean chihuahua

  10. yo man i wanna know how to preserve ur shoes the longest possible, does anyone know the best way? keeping them in the box?

  11. @TD3000

…I hear you but I’ve seen Mayor wearing a bunch of different kicks…someone with hundreds of kicks can’t possible wear them all at the same time…

I have about 170-something pairs right now and there are some that got worn 1X a year ago…in the meantime you MUST store them…that’s not “WACK”- it’s just how you preserve your kicks while their in rotation.

  12. I just want one of those tupperware … I mean tupperSHOE stacked towers and I’ll be good! I wonder how long his video is going to be…

  13. Yea he’s got a lot of shoes, BUT way tooooooooo many forces. I’ve been a sneakerhead for years and never could understand WHY people collect air forces. They’re as gay as Nelly’s music.

  14. i cant wait to see the video. loving those golden forces.

  15. dopeness at its finest

  16. Yay!.. I got him as a friend on my page. Lol nah im kidding, but man.
    Looking forward to this.

  17. TO nikeindabutt

yea your right…im just talking really more about collectors who dont wear any of there kicks and act like there shoes are too good for the ground….but yea i feel what your saying..it is hard for myself to manage my kicks and make sure they all get sum game time lol

  18. @TorontoComeUp sunlight and oxidization are a sneakers worst enemy. To preserve your kicks, keep them in a dark, climate controlled environment. Try to keep them in a Jumbo One Zip plastic bag to reduce their exposure to oxygen. Follow these steps and your kicks will stay fresh for years. ;)

  19. GOOD LOOKING ON THE LOVE YA……. I JUST STRAIGHTENED OUT THE ROOM SO I SHOULD BE SHOOTING THE VID REAL SOON

  20. bring’em out (4x)

  21. HEY… FAT BOY (I CAN CALL HIM THAT.. THATS MY BROTHER!!)… BUT.. WHY ARE YOU SHOWING OFF ??? WE DONT DO THAT!!!! YOU KNOW BETTER THAN THAT!!! YOU KNOW WE PLAY BY DIFFERENT RULES!!!

  22. AND.. I’M SORRY FOR CALLING YOU FAT BOY.. I KNOW YOU LOST 42 POUNDS… FUCK IT… BRING ‘EM OUT MY MAN!!!! SHOW ‘EM HOW WE DO THIS SON!!!!!!!!!!!

  23. collection looks incredible from this pic….cant wait to see what he do on the video

  24. MAYOR—Insane collection….I wanna see it for everything EXCEPT Forces…..cuz I hate Forces like fat people hate Diet Coke….but to each his own lol…..

I gotta kinda agree with TD3000, PLEASE wear your kicks. I got OG Jordan I’s that get worn at least once a week….when they disintegrate I’ll know it’s time to give em a rest….When I see someone rollin’ out in Boxfresh kicks, I don’t even look twice…..when I see someone walking thru dogsh*t in some certifiable HEAT!!!….HEAT that look like he wore them shits to walk from NYC to LA, then I get all excited lol…..wear em ’til they FALL OFF!!!!

  25. sneakers r a helluva drug!

  26. I was going to get plastic containers like that for my shoe collection but they are $3.99 each at Target. Anyone know any other places that sell them for less? I wonder what he did with the boxes?
