  1. Dope video. It’s a shame how people fight at these type of releases. Good stuff The SneakrFather, and I love the way you put the vid together. Makes me wanna watch Back to the Future II…lol

  2. I don’t think it’s the love of the sneaker OR the hype. Unfortunately, it’s the money :(

Dude sold a pair of the away kobe hyperdunks for $4,100 to a cali business man. at the HOH drop peopple were filppin those for about $500 and he bought a pair. You should hear the extended version of his tale.

I got a pair of these for the love, I’ve tried on but I have not made it to the court yet. Its really hard to keep lovin the game when 85% of the dudes out there admit they are going to resell and many flip within min of walkin out the door with there pair. And certain employees and friends who own sneaker sites plant tons of wifes, gfs, friends and kids as young as 4 years old in line to buy pairs. Not to mention how many people cut the line including 3-4 rather large dudes who showed up last min and jumped right in if you know what I mean. Up front too and theres nothign you can do.

Check out a Trickstar or DQM blazer drop and youll find that everone online will be looking to sell you a spot or flip there pair. Most kids are 14-17 years old nowadays. No one over 18 got a pair of any of the 3 BMX shoes at concepts in Boston (45 pairs) or any of the DQM blazers at Bodega (14 pairs). people waited over 24 hours at concepts and 16 hours at bodega. I was not gona do that.

The state of the game has changed and its all ugly from here on in. Not that it was prety, but it used to be dudes had to work hard to get the most exclusive stuff on their feet. There was no big resell market and ebay/flightclub/resell sites/nike talk were not prominent in 2001 which was one probably the best sneaker year of this decade.

Even at NTNY with wrist bands the release was messed in many ways. Cutters, people getting 3-6 wristbands for themselves and getting multiple pairs. And we saw the same kids out at Undefeated for the hyperdunks again at the NTLA release. Gotta except it, and the fact that it would take a lot of work that Nike is not willing to do to try and find the most fair system of distributing sneakers so that poeple who do want to rock atleast have a shot.

  8. lame shoes, beat it. Nah but Groc fighting in NYC is definitely a must for these type of situations. A lot of people try to violate, then aint ready for the repercussions. Especially in manhattan, if you from BX or BK .. the goonies is coming through.

  9. I enjoyed the video and those NY exclusive releases are always crazy. Dude said he made $4100. WOW, paid for the living room set, new floor, and PS3.

  10. G roc good looking my dude. We made it with back to the future theme in it for the people who just wanted to resell and never even saw the movie. (LOL).

  13. ^^^No problem homie, it’s all good. $4,100 is a lot rohail, someone might have actually paid him that price when he first got them. Maybe…

he will be missed, but never forgotten and i DARE any actor to ever try and play the joker, the pressure he left on the wannabes is too much, and it didnt hurt that he did the greatest magic trick with that pencil, rip
