Judging from the sneaker community consensus, it seems like everyone likes the Doernbecher Nike Air Max 95. You can thank the fine folks at Nike, but more importantly, you can thank Daniel, The Creator. At 9 years of age, Daniel Bair was blessed with the opportunity to design his own Nike shoe. Like the other designers, Daniel’s story is absolutely amazing. You all know where I stand as far as “hating” and “bashing” the creations of these awesome kids. Come at me, bro. However, I didn’t see anyone complaining about Daniel’s shoe so it’s all good.
Watch the video below to learn more about Daniel and his story. Also, you can meet the other designers (minus one) by watching their videos below. Enjoy!
Dang it G-Roc! Man if these stories don’t tug at your heartstrings, you aren’t living! I always was able to deal with adults having health issues…in a way…they’ve had a chance to live life. It saddens me that innocent kids are faced with adult challenges before THEY have had a chance to “live”. These kids have all shown such a positive attitude amidst troubling times. Respect to Doernbecher and Nike and especially to the familes and kids who have had to endure, blessings to them and to those who may not have made it through. A worthy cause. I digress, the Air Max 95s are my favs (Daniel story brought an actual tear to my eye) but I also love the Free Run 2s
Yeah these videos give you the chills and are a testament to the power of faith and hope that are so evident in the lives and strengths of these kids and families. The AM95 is indeed the best in the collection, but all of the kids’ stories are equally impressive and it makes you wanna grab your checkbook and buy five pairs of them all. Respect to Nike, Doernbecher Hospital, the families and kids, and of course, to TSG, for educating and inspiring the people every year. Good stuff for real!
Yea these are definitely the best out of the collection. this kid knows whats up, respect
Indeed^^
Wow, each and every one of these kids ( ALL DOERNBECHER) have huge hearts and such a positive outlook on life. Gotta give it up
These are amazing.
Daniel has an eye for just about everything in the aspect of creating this shoe.

Overall a much more fluid and cohesive design than the DB IV’s. I hope these get quite a bit of hype… well deserved that’s for sure!
all the hype over the mens shoes and the womens nike free runner sold out first!
the amazing thing is he designed a good shoe…and he’s 98% blind! he’s like the daredevil of shoe designers
