Hey BRINX, no disrespect my dude, but please explain to me why I must like the SPACE JAMS over the VIs that are about to drop. I know the VIs are not the same as the RETROS…. DARK RED…INFRARED, VARSITY RED… HELL, I DON’T CARE IF IT’S TICKLE ME ELMO RED, I love the VIs way more than any SPACE JAM my friend. The VIs are very dear to my heart and carry a lot of sentimental value. This might come as a surprise to you but my favorite Js are the VIIIs (SERIOUSLY) These SJs are nothing like the ones that dropped yrs ago so don’t give me the lame story about how you would rock the retro VIs with the NIKE AIR on the back over the ones coming out next yr. I missed out on those VIs that dropped in 2000 but I did have the OGs and BALLED so hard in them joints that they turned into Vs and there is no way in hell that I’m dropping $600 + on a pair….. YOU SEE BRINX, I HAVE A PAIR OF SPACE JAMS…. IF FOR SOME REASON THEY DON’T SELL ON EBAY (which because of all the other resellers they probably won’t), I WILL STILL HAVE THOSE THINGS….. AND I WILL WEAR THEM BUT TRUST, THEY ARE BY NO MEANS A GRAIL OF ANY SORTS TO ME… THEY’RE JUST A NICE SHOE TO HAVE… BUT YOU BETTER BELIEVE THAT IF ANY ONE WANTED TO TRADE THE SPACE JAMS FOR THE VIs, IT WOULD GO DOWN IN A HEARTBEAT….PERIOD & I wouldn’t care about the extra $15.

LOl true, everyone has there own grail of personal choice. im not saying the space jams are grails, but i am saying there way hotter than those new ugly VIs that are coming out… and im glad you got a pair, dont sell em, keep em! they are pure CRACK! and i dont care about the hype or any of that shit, i buy what i like. i think like 85% of the jordans are ugly as shit that most of you guys consider HEAT and GRAILS to be honest… so if i were one to fall into the hype then shit id have a whole lot more j’s in my collection. i buy what i think is hot. im just sayin that those new VIs are ugly as hell and that suede upper and dark red bottom killed them and they are ugly… the only reason everyone is so happy about them and buying them is because they want the original VIs and cant cough up 600 for them so theyre resorting to these and telling themselves there hot LOL … deep down they would rather have the original ones.
i mean just look at the space jam and look at the VI… its self explanatory why the space jams are 10x hotter… its like comparing mariah careys face to jodie fosters face LOL …

LOL BRINX…. but we are gonna have to agree to disagree….. First of all, I am a sucker for any BRED Jordan… a lot of people complain about the XI from the CDP.. I love ‘em and like I said… I had the OG VIs and balled in them so hard they turned into Vs…(yeah, balled in them…very few do that these days) I don’t think it’s the matter of not being able to cough up $600 it’s just NOT doing it. TRUST, if more people had that kind of money they would of bought the SPACE JAMS from yrs ago. Trust me, the only reason why people are BEASTING for the SPACE JAMS this way is because of a lot of new sneaker heads that joined the game after 2000 and didn’t cop them…. they see that the SPACE JAMS have grail status and they started tripping…. I GUARANTEE that if JB changed the red to INFRARED a lot of people would be going bonkers just like they did for the SPACE JAMS…. I AM PERSONALLY GLAD THAT YOU THINK THESE VIs ARE UGLY AS HELL AND I HOPE THAT A WHOLE LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE THINK THE SAME…. IT WILL MAKE IT THAT MUCH EASY FOR ME TO GET ‘EM.

Oh, and royal swag, i have both packs. Dont do it to yourself man. Two things. 1) you can probably find your size of either pack cheaper and authetic on ebay.. and 2) the quality on the 3s are shite … i rock em like beaters bc the leather is terrible, but man are they a beautiful silloette to look at… the 20s are booty too, so I would aim for the 7s/16s … the CDPs are just not that good in comparison to its previous #’d versions of the shoes, but if you like the Hare 7s, these are pretty much on point, as are the 16s.
To throw some fire to the flame, Im with BRINX … the SJs are not overhyped.. they are hyped just right. Hottest shoe made my Jordan period. The OGs of course. Dont get me wrong, the VI BRED colorway is top 5 for Js… but it aint better than SJs or true blue 3s, Cool Grey XIs, or Cement 4s.. My own two cents..

and am95, its just to bad they didnt re release the VI with the orignal upper and normal red color on the bottom.. if they did that again then i would buy 2 pairs too!! cuz even the ones for 600 are always beat, crashed, and yellow.
Hey CHAMP.. no problem my dude…. but to say the SJ WAS NOT hyped is a little ridiculous…… no one destroyed footlockers across the nation for those YEEZYS which beside the SJ was the most hyped up shoe…. I like the VI more than the TBIII as well but hey, just my opinion. I have a special place in my heart for the III – VIII but the VIII and VI are favorite out of them all. To be honest, after I get this VI…. I can relax as far as kicks go…
