  4. D says:

Damn G Roc you get mad respect from me for connecting this very sad news to sneakers. I’m still kind of shocked about the whole thing because he was only 50 and hands down the greatest child performer ever some could argue the greatest music artist ever. What makes this that much more sad is most folks will only remember Michael for the child molestation charges or how his skin colored changed but he really impacted and influenced lots of singers like Usher or whoever else dances and sings. R.I.P. MJ.

  22. JordanAmbassador4Life says:

The GREATEST artist to ever live and we will never understand the magnitude of his artistry and what he has done to music on a whole. Over 50 million Thriller records sold worldwide is mindblowing. Perfect look back at his sneaker for us sneakerheads. I foresee an SB Dunk in the future to celebrate his life.
“This is Bad, Real Bad Michael Jackson”.
    RIP King Of Pop

  23. Converse King says:

As strange as his private life was, he was an artist. In the end all that matters is he was good at his job, and he made a lot of people happy with his music. He is this generation’s Elvis.

  24. 23edge says:

R.I.P. Michael…. God I can’t even start to think how hard a tribute to this man will be, can you imagine where to begin?
My favorite memory of Michael was his red jacket from Thriller… every kid had one back in the 80′s

  25. Da shoe lover says:

Remember The Time… That video was like a freakin movie. Its the only one I remember from that era… I felt the lost right away and it hurt.. I am only 25, but dude has been the man since I can remember.Despite all the weird stuff in his personal life, I just hope he gets all the respect he has earned. Simply the Greatest. Co-sign on the tear part. I just hate to see genuine genius die.

  34. kfa$hdaalien says:

  40. TC says:

    Damn!

    R.I.P Mike!!!

I agree with Nike dropping a Dunk. But, I would say take it a step beyond that. Y’all remember the MJ guarding MJ pic? Hint: (think Raptor 7′s) Drop them with the Concord 11′s (put MJ on the heel in silver metallic on the side heel)

    Now, Nike pay attention!

    1. They must a Global General Release!

    2. No more than 250.00 retail

    3. Donate all the proceeds to the almost 40 Causes he supported!

  41. TC says:

    ^ FYI the 7′s were “The Bordeaux”^

Also drop a R.I.P on the tongue of the Concords

    One Love, One Glove!

  42. TC says:

    ^I was just BrainStorming^

Hence, the mistakes…..they must be a global GR!

But, 4 real Nike “Just Do Something”

    Free Game 4 y’all!

  43. abelinoSFV says:

who’s bad!!!! ur bad micheal you will be missed dearly. much love and respect… my prayer’s are with you and ur family love you micheal and my hart go’s out to ur children …I’m so sad

  47. roclachamp says:

RIP MJ and Farrah, but in all honesty those LA gear kicks are fresh to this day. I should have know all MJs have hott kicks

  48. chevyboy says:

where did you find pics of these, or do you have them G? I forgot all about them.

  49. TP says:

I have these shoes in the women’s version. They are almost exactly like these men’s. The only difference I see is that I don’t have the two metal bands on the shoelaces. Mine are a size and in the same condition as these.

  50. young sneakerhead says:

nike should do a tribute shoe to mj. maybe a couple shirts like one with his glove similar to the kobe mvp shirt or one where mj is moonwalking across the nike swoosh with the slogan just do it crossed out and under it say i did it
