Mike Vick Sneaker Deal: Who Will It Be?
Michael Vick is no longer on lockdown and he was reinstated to play pro football again by NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell. While most people want to know which NFL team will Mike Vick play for, we’re curious like George about what sneaker brand is going to sign Vick? Will Nike welcome Vick home with open arms? Perhaps adidas or Reebok plan on signing Vick? What about Under Armour? Maybe none of the brands will pick him up (very unlikely). Inquiring minds want to know, so check out the poll and vote. Jordan Brand!! Sike. I don’t see anyone welcoming him with a signature shoe just yet. But I agree that UA needs a face for the brand but maybe not HIS face (just yet). That could make or break thier break-in into the marketplace. Now lets say he signs with the Ravens as a back up with Ray Lew to be a “mentor” then it’s a no brainer…anywhere else he will just have to work with the team shoe for now.
If nike was going to support vick , they would’nt have dropped him in the first place. My bet is that shoe G-roc flashed on the video will be the last signature vick ever made. ( which makes it a helluva show piece) P.S. im still holding the black air force mids with the VICK laser engraving that i grabbed at niketown ATL back in like 04!

I dont think anyone will want to take that chance at first may be see what will happen with this season then i would think under armour would be nice since they are more up and coming with their cleats and shoes. But then again reebok more adidas seems to be in desperate need of someone to carry em over the hump. Nike wont waste the time i think even tho i would love that to happen

I agree with JordanSBs912 on the while deal minus the “N” word. I’m a die hard eagles fan and I heard there was a chance they may sign him and if they do, I will be at every game protesting. I know people should be forgiven for their mistakes but the truth is if a non celebrity did it they would be locked up a lot longer and outcast! Same with Stallworth!! I have had dogs my while life and I can’t imagine killing one! They are no different than people to me (people that eat poop) Seriously though, he doesn’t deserve to be endorsed by anyone!

If you put dogs on the same level on humans you need your head examined, I dont condone his actions but Im willing to give him another chance…Also get over the fact celebs have been getting off for less time for years, you should be used to it.

I had that convo with some coworkers G-Roc. If killers, abusers, rapists, druggies, etc can be reinstated into the pros Vick should be allowed to do so as well.
