NBA on TNT Nike Hyperdunk Release Recap

| October 30, 2008 | Comments (26)

TSG was on hand at the NBA on TNT Nike Hyperdunk Supreme Atlanta exclusive release this morning. Nike is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of TNT’s NBA telecasts and the Grand Opening of the new Nike Store at Lenox Mall. The Nike Store at Lenox Mall was only open for this super limited release and doors will open to the public this Saturday, November 1st. We originally reported that 48 pairs would release October 30th, but only 40 pairs were released as for the other 8 pairs??? Use your imagination!

The line was full of Atlanta heads as well as a few dedicated sneakerheads from out of state. TSG reader xxcoreyxx traveled from South Carolina while others came from Tennessee. We’re pleased to announce that this was a drama free release, but we must say Lenox Mall securtity gave EVERYONE a hard time. Check out the video footage and pictures after the jump. Stay tuned for a first look at the new Lenox Mall Nike Store.

  20. inertia53 says:

My friends at TNT tell me that Nike never got permission from TNT for anything on that shoe. Something tells me legal action is coming.

  21. Anon says:

So, its official, i know where the other 8 pair of kicks went. I was told by a security gaurd there, that some guy bought 4 pair, and they told him that he cant buy anymore, so he had his girl buy the other 4.. I dont know who this guy is that has this much pull to buy 4 pair of the TNT’s and 4 for his girl. But it’s definately an inside job.

  22. big404 says:

Like mostly all shoes, that shoe was given the “TNT” nickname, that wasn’t the offical name of the shoe. Stop hypin’ inertia53….

  23. inertia53 says:

    The images on the tounge?

  24. SneakerQueen says:

  26. Dragon Hill says:
