Well since Adidas has all the NBA licensing locked up Nike has to do whatever they can to get in the NBA prime time spotlight outside of regular paid advertisements. This is like viral marketing in a way, get the kids hyped on a shoe, and keep them hyped on a game that is the reason for the shoes in the first place. You hear me all you reselling hypebeast campers with no court game? If you don’t ball in your shoes you are not a baller, just a hypebeast child waiting in line like the rest of the blind mice.
