New Balance 574 “Sonic Pack” Fall 2010

Here is the first look into a New Balance new construction process. They are taking parts of the shoe that would normally be stitched and making it stitch-less. It’s a new process that takes the recent sock liner design to the next level. More images and info after the break…

New Balance introduces the Sonic Pack for 2010. A new design and construction process where the toe box and side panel are not stitched. Instead, New Balance developed a way in which they will take those areas and weld them together with pressure and heat. Making this shoe series almost seamless.
The first shoe to be introduced with this concept is the classic New Balance 574 with the better, lower profile shape from 2009. They kept the design very minimal by releasing three solid colorways with just an added dash of color to the heel cap. The shoes will be made up of a suede and mesh combo upper. They are scheduled for a Fall/Winter release of this year.

I need the grey pair in my LIFE!!!!!! Classic shoe with a modern twist. Too dope to pass up.
That’s a great idea they have there. Eliminating the flaw that most shoes have (falling apart), by getting rid of the one thing that makes it occur. I approve, and the shoe looks good too.
well thats neat is still wont buy them.
