Nike 2008 Summer Retro Release Info
Here’s the latest leak concerning Nike’s 2008 retro line up.
Nike will take what we have named “The Year of the Retro” into 2008. Next year Nike will bring back more old skool classics. Here’s the news we have for what will be returning in April-June 2008.
Air Tech Challenge II – 2 Original colorways with the spalatter effect!
Air Raid – Original black/grey, and a new crazy colorway
Air Zoom Flight V (5) – Jason Kidd’s signature shoe coming in the OG white/navy/silver and new black/cool grey colorway
Air CB34 – Charles Barkley’s signture shoe in white/black/carrot orange
Air Bound 2 – The Air Bound originally dropped back in 1990, and resembles the Flight 89
Air Flight Lite Low – Scottie Pippen use to rock them and they originally dropped in 1991
Also set to release, a new colorway of the Air Max 95 which features white/black/hot lava make up. Coming with the same hot lava colorway as seen on the OG Air Tech Challenge II (seen after the jump). Think Infared AM95’s!

WHEN I GO TO EVENTS LIKE THIS IT SEEMS LIKE IT ALL ABOUT THE MONEY THEY NOT CAREING LETS MAKE THE BEST EVENT POSSIBLE FOR THE PEOPLE. THESE DUDES WERE LIKE LETS FIND WEARHOUSE WHO CARES ABOUT A/C PACK AS MANY PEOPLE AS WE CAN IN THIS SWEAT BOX, AND OH YEAH JUST FOR SHITS AND GIGGLES LET HAVE NO PARKING SO PEOPLE GET TICKETS, THEIR CARS TOWED AND HAVE TO WALK A MILE TO GET HERE “NOW THATS AND EVENT” >:-0. SOMETIMES I DON’T KNOW HOW EVENTS LIKE THIS COULD BE SUCCESFUL. THE SHOES THAT WERE ON DISPLAY WAS HIT THAT PERSONALY I WOULD NEVER EVEA WEAR. EXCEP THE FEW JORDANS THAT WERE ON DISPLAY. ^Sorry to hear that kid. From what I was told Sneaker Pimps ATL 07 was the best one yet. The place has A/C and plently of room. I was shocked that it was so nice. It actually looked like a art gallery/show. As for the MIA show that sucks, and sounds like your def pissed off. How much were they charging? Did you have to pay for parking?
On the flip side I’m def looking foward to getting a pair of ATC II’s. I’ve been wanting a pair of the Hot Lava’s for a while, but finding a pair that won’r crack is like finding fish at the Atlanta Beach (man made beach). I hope they look close to the OG’s, I mean I know Nike rarely ever makes them exactly the same but I hope they look good as they say. If so put me down for 2 pairs. The rest of the stuff I’m good on, I’d rather get some other stuff I’m looking for.

What?? No Air Raids G-roc??? Im interested in seeing the crazy colorway mentioned but IMO they should have just done the “Peace” Raids.

G-ROC they were charging 20 per person at the door. Parking was all done wit meters. Parking enforcement was in packs writtin tickets everywhere, tow trucks havin a ball. NOT TO MENTION THE RAIN. IT WAS HARD BEING TREATED THAT WAY BY OUR CULTURE. If i was gonna throw an event i’ll have all this planned out to make it the best event possible. I mean these are my people, we’re all here wit the same love, and even if some of my own money has to come out my pocket i’mma make it right. Thats just the way i look at,and do things. I was lucky enough to find a guest parking at some 6 apartment looking place, in the cut. We deep in miami not the best neighborhood walking by alley ways, threw ally ways. My girl wit me looking extra sexy,wit pumps(heels) and a rockawear dress. Wit bums everywhere-dark streets. Thank god for pistol’s. Bro sweatin up a storm forget it G i was steamin i wanted to jump on stage grab the mic and open peoples eyes to how hard we were dissed, that these “sneaker pimps” would bring this shity event to our city. You know sometimes our love over comes the bad things of a situation and u try to stay positive, but i’m sure that i wasn’t the only one feeling played. G i think its about time for THE SHOE GAME WORLD TOUR. What u think??

^^^I feel you G-roc i just hate to be nit picky but I hope they come a littler harder on the Tech Challenges than they did this year. They were wayyyy off from the OG’s and just didn’t have that same appeal IMO.

I’m sick of the complaining about this year’s Challenges. The yellow is almost identical, but people are bitching about pix of prototypes they saw online instead of what actually came out in stores. Not singling you out solefresh, I just don’t get it overall. Yeah the back wasn’t as cool without the ball, and that one piece at the heel should’ve been black, but that’s it. The yellow and green really are the same as the OGs. I’m old enough to have had the originals, and the color on these was pretty much right on.
