For the past few years Nike has been dropping some true retro heat. Perhaps you might need to have a quick flashback. For the remainder of 2008 Nike will dish out more OG classics, and 2009 will offer more than we can imagine. The Air Max Classic BW has been getting some weak play lately (minus the Paris BW’s, those were dope), but next year Nike will finally drop a few colorways worth buying.

The colorways include a White/Hot Pink BW, which is probably a womens release. However, the Black/Persian Violet BW’s that everyone slept on in 2003 are suppose to return in ‘09. If you can recall, the 2003 retro was on sale for $30-$40 at major retail stores like Footaction. Yes, this is one of the most popular OG BW colorways.   1. The Hot Pink BW’s are FIRE, and I still have my 2003 Persian BW’s but I need a freaking 8.5, the 8 hurts the heck out of my feet. 2009 is looking better and better.

  5. I guess Nike just decided to bring back all the og Air Max colors. That pink colorway is hot enough for me to wear and I don’t even care if it’s for the ladies.

    i still have my 2003 persians that i copped for 40 at Finishline. i had just come back from Iraq and saw that purple and it was a no brainer. i copped 2 pair, dogged the hell outta the first pair and my second pair is still decent but this was before “hypebeast” came around, so i doubt i will be able to get these for that sale price and i will have to be there early to cop them before the “johnny come lately” hypebeast herbs jump on em.
