It’s not even March yet and Nike is already going Air Max crazy.

I’m not sure who or what was responsible for the shift, but in my opinion, ever since last year people have been way more excited about Air Max releases.

I really noticed it when the Air Max 97 made its return. Who knew there were so many Air Max 97 fans. 2018 is pretty much the same vibe, but with the Air Max 98.

But it’s true what they say, you learn something new everyday. Although I didn’t learn it today, I learned people are beyond thirst for Gundam Air Max 98s.

Outside of OG classics, Nike is experimenting with hybrids which is nothing new. However, this hybrid has never been done before until now. Meet the Air Max Plus 97.

The model is self explanatory. The Air Max Plus and Air Max 97 joined forces for 2018. This model is made up of the Air Max 97 upper and Air Max Plus tooling.

Nike will drop the layer cake colorway first which features Light Orewood Brown and Emerald Rise.

The Nike Air Max Plus 97 release date is February 20. Retail price is $160.

I’d have to see the material up close but the color blocking is dope. I’m a fan. If its done right, this might be a 2 cop drop.
