Nike takes us back to 1997 with the Air Max Uptempo 97 retro. It’s been years since we last seen these kicks in stores, but the Air Max Uptempo 97 is back! Nike’s Uptempo line is pretty legendary, which explains why the return of this shoe is kinda like a big deal. The shoes are available now at several Nike retailers, including Corporate. The folks at Corporate take phone orders so hit them up if you want a pair.

Not diggin these when they came out in 97. Nike was on some alien ish back in those days. The Kidds, Pippens, Barkleys, Pennys, G. Paytons all had an ill touch to them. Loved that era.. but I will pass on these. If I find them at Nordstroms rack on sale I “might” buyem just to have. Can’t argue wit $49.99!!

I’m going to have to agree… I was deciding between the air pippens and these… and these just don’t do anything for me. Copped the orange air pippens over these. Hopefully other colorways drop.
