Of course the Copper Foamposite comes to mind when looking at this newly released Copper Air Max Wavy. However, you don’t have to spend $200+ to own the Copper Air Max Wavy. Whether you passed on the Copper Foams or want to give your pair a break, the Air Max Wavy copper edition is in stores now for $80.

WTHHHHHH :0 These are video hoes nasty. And I mean that in a bad way. Look, If people want to ride the Wavey that’s fine, if you like the shoe then by all means buy it, but knocking off the foamposites is another thing and just to be clear these aint no foamposites. And I don’t know if I would call these proper substitutes to the foams. Again, if you like this then hurrah, but if no, keep it moving.
Nike is going to do allright with the Wavy line. Especially for those who like the foamposite but don’t neccesarily want to spend the coin to own them. Still not a foam fan or the wavy for that matter but I can’t definitely respect the concept.
^^^I “can” respect the concept
I can respect it cause kids don’t necessarily need 200 doller sneakers. So I can respect it.
@Lem- i feel you.
.
but i love foams and wavy’s. i’ll have coppers, eggplants, and royals in both. can’t beat $80 for a sneaker this nice. i don’t think they’re foam substitutes at all, it’s just another dope shoe with similarities. is this the first time you’ve noticed that nike reuses materials and colorways on other shoes that you would never call knock-offs?
These are not nice anyway you put it the feel super cheap and feel thin like wtf nike put more thought into it and just stop releasing anything bcuz these kicks had potential but tisk
Ugly trash.
Its a good priced shoe. I would have to see these in person/on foot before I would say I would purchase. I don’t really like this colorway tho.
These suck like hookers!
NICE CONCEPT. GREAT SHO FOR THOSE WHO LOVE THE FOAMS AND CAN’T AFFORD THEM. CAN’T BEAT $80. NIKE IS GONNA CLEAN UP OFF THESE. @ “NIKEDEE” I AGREE 100%.
“SHOE”
THESE ARE EXTREMELY UGLY LOL
*speechless*
NO, NOT IN A GOOD WAY!
have and like my copper foams, put still not feelin the air max wavy in any cw, just not a great looking shoe at all
With the explosion of ebay…outlet hunting…50′ies….Ross…Marshalls…Nordstroms rack…and everything thing else under the sun..the average consumer is no longer running out and paying retail…These are actually pretty dope…at a $80 price point they look even better…But the truth is…half the consumers walking around see the price and instantly think…damn those are kinda dope..$80…eh..Ill wait until they go on sale for $50…then ultimatley these like sooo many others just sit and become forgotten about….So let me be the first to say…ill cop when they hit the outlet for $49.99….
.
Same thing goes for the foams…this was the 1st year that Nike “mass produced” all the colorways…Its been at least 3 50ies…at least 2 friends and families…and I can still tell you spots to pick up Foams for retail…I even know a couple outlets with stock…Unless your truly a fan…or its crazy limited..no one is really paying retail these days….
I liked the air wavy but not this colorway they are really acting like they are foamposites though.
F*ck Nike they are officially brainless retards
OLD LADIES!!!!!
nah nah
these are cool. but i have copper foams so i dont need em..
look like some nice shoes for ballin’.
^^^^^@ NIKE DEE…I hear you brother about kids not needing $200 shoes. I got my first pair of Jordans when I was 20 years old, out of the house, and in the Navy. It’s always mind blowing to see kids walking around with $150+ shoes on and they are 12 or 13. It’s cool that their parents are able but the appreciation factor probably isn’t there. But to each their own.
^^^^@ Keith…Hey brother do you. It’s always good to see somebody doing what they like instead of going with the status quo. If you can rock it then ride it until the wheels fall off.
Nice concept and very simple and appealing…can’t go wrong with the price..i would grab a pair in this colorway for sure and maybe the white one….
Once these come down to like $50 I can see myself ballin in these. First I gotta check out the comfort level and everything else though.
Im really contemplating never buying nikes again at full price again in my life, this is horrible, the coppers were a nice shoe this year, why come back with this bull!!!!! f nIKE
The wavy is a good look to me it’s not too much and nit too less,
@g roc
I operate my comments by my iPhone for the the past year
but I been wanting to make an account to post pics but do u have an app
where it can b easy for me to post pics
And 2007 was the best year wit the most sought out colorways for the penny foam one
retros
Aint nothing wavy about these vomit
Them Joints Crack… If They Had An Icey Bottom Then Damn.! But These Is Like That.
If you can get past the direct Foam comparison, you’ll be OK. They’re not Foams. I have Foams, but I’m not comparing these to Foams because they’re two different sneakers. It’s an affordable, good looking shoe. I’d pay $80 for em easily, and like alot of other people said, I’d definitely grab em when they hit sales racks too, which most likely they will.
Went to FTL today and saw these ugly joints in Cooper/Royal/Eggplant. OH MY! Totally ruins it for the Foamposite colorways that came out now but yeah if you like them…go for it.
These are like Jordan Fusions where they combine Penny II shoes with Foamposites. Not like the 1/2 cent in any way. Yikes.
ppl is crazy…

lmao these are ugly (in my opinion).. damn i kn0 ppl with the coppers are like WTF!! lol.. this suckz right?? they kinda played the coppers’ unique colorway.. guess it’s not so unique anymore lol
@lem agree 100%…. Hey I like them and have no problem paying even less for these n rockn them @ the gym over my foams
These are okay but I would just ball in these. For 80 dollars you can’t beat that but at the same time they should’ve never used the copper colorway. So you know eggplant will be showing up pretty soon.
First glance not feeling them..maybe over time
Not right now though..lol I will stick with my foams
