Nike Air Penny 2 Retro – Black/White/Varsity Royal
One of the most anticipated retro’s of 2008 is the Air Penny 2. Some very popular kicks from the 1990 Nike era gets retro love in ‘08. It’s going to be a close call as to what shoe will be crowned the “Retro of the Year“. With the re-release of the Hot Lava Air Tech Challenge II, Air Pippen I, and the Air Penny II, it’s hard to say which retro is going to leave with the crown. According to the Penny 2 popularity, we’ll have to assume that majority of the sneaker culture would put their money on the Penny 2 retro.
The entire Penny line is well known throughout the culture, but the Penny 2 is probably the most wanted model. We finally have a high res image of the upcoming black, white, and varsity royal Penny 2 retro. Just like most of Nike’s retro’s, they return true to their OG make up. Images: tw-kix

I’m all over the black Penny 2’s without a doubt. I’ve been waiting a pair of the OG’s for a while, but I’m a patient man, so I just wait on the retro’s.
