Nike Air Penny II & Pippen I Returns in 2008
Next year Nike will continue to retro some of their most remembered classics. Penny Hardaway’s Air Penny II will retro in 2008 coming in white/royal and the highly sought after black/royal colorway. They are set to release Fall 2008 for a retail of $135. As if that’s not enough, Scottie Pippen’s signature Air Pippen I will also make an appearance in 2008. The above pics are not samples, but once we get catalog or sample pics they will be posted. Nike brought back some true heat this year and it’s no telling what they have planned for next year. I must admit I’m hatin’ a lil bit. I got DS OG Penny II’s Black/Royal…so I feel kinda cheated. But it’s all good baby, they are beautiful kicks, and real heads deserve them. I gotta stay positive, plus…I can cop a Retro pair and actually WEAR’EM. The Pippens are gonna kill’em too.. those mothas are FIRE..
to add, remember these are kicks back in the day eeveryone had and balled in, not just styled. so imagine the dudes ballin in em and styling in em. Production numbers will be through the roof
The black Penny 2’s are coming home to me in 08. I just hope they look like the OG’s. I’m pretty sure Nike will eventually retro everyone’s fav’s. I’m no longer shocked when I hear or report on the stuff that will return.
However I was the most shocked in 2004 when Nike retro’d the Diamond Turfs. I was sick, that was one of my childhood fav’s and I have all 3 OG colorways.

^That’s cuz most ppl remember the Penny’s. The Pippen’s were not as popular as the Penny’s back then. When Penny was with Orlando he was the man and everybody knows that. The Penny’s go down in sneaker history, but like you said, the Pippen’s are clean too.
Don’t you just love how Nike use to use those full Air Max units back in the day. Nike freaking rocked back in the days, I mean they still do, but not like they use to.
