Nike Air Penny III White/Varsity Red
The Air Penny III was never the people’s champ when talking about the Air Penny line, but that didn’t stop Penny fans from snatching up the retro’s last year. The Air Penny III will release in new colorways this year and today we have our first actual look at the white/varsity red colorway.
If you can recall, back in September we previewed the Air Penny 3 Summer 2010 colors which includes the white/red and white/purple AP3. The white/red Air Penny 3 will be available at Footlocker and other Nike retailers on April 23rd.

Love pennys these were actually one of my favorites next to the royal foams but imma get em and may be the purple ones too depending on how they look in person
These are slick…but I doubt many people will actually buy. The royal and white and black/black/blue Penny III’s didnt seem to sell well. That $160 is a lil steep. I like the colorway tho

As a Avid Penny Collector Who owns The First Retro Release of The Air Max Penny One which if yall did your Homework came out in 2000 copped at Nike Town in Phipps Plaza GA Back in The Day And who also owns the more recent retro releases of The Penny 2 (2008) & 3 (2009) All OG Magic Colorways Black White Varsity Royal Its Safe to Say Pennys Only look Good in OG Magic Colorways Period!! This Red Ish is a Complete Fail in My Eyes I Recall Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway’s Peak Achievements Came in The Penny One Two Three & Royal Foamposites Any Variation of That from Nike is a FAIL To me Just My Opinion OG Colorways Or Its a No Go For Me Homie Let The Hate Begin!!!
Also I want to Note I Had All The OG Penny Releases from 1995-1998 Either they got stolen for me or I Dogged them Playin BasketBall so its good to see Nike retroing them again cuz now there in my stash and it brings back fond memories Sorry but Penny’s are the Equal to what Bo Jackson’s means to G-Roc Air Penny Go Hard!!

Adding these to the list for this year……and damn, I’ve been wondering about some Eggplant 1/2 Cents….seems like the next logical step in that series….or some Copper 1/2 Cents wouldn’t look half bad either….

The design of this shoe in general seems like they tried a lot less than with previous Penny designs. I wouldn’t wear this shoe, if it was free.
Not a huge fan of the Penny III’s but these go hard for real. Might catch em when they go on sale.
Everybody get ready, copper foams will be hitting accounts around february 8th. They probly won’t have a “release date” but most shops will drop them the saturday after they hit the store. This date was confirmed to me by 2 diff shop owners this am.
I agree with you EXCLUSIVE GAME…… any Penny looks whack in any other colorway other than the MAGIC, PHOENIX or KNICKs….

I own a pair of the black/orl bl colorway and I like them a lot… Love the Penny series in general.
i had the blk/blue og’s and wore em to death but my fav color is red so i might have to copp, plus i like the penny III i wonder if they’re as comfy as the og’s tho
