Nike Air Raid Retro – Black/Grey/White

Nike Air Raid

Anyone that’s old enough to remember knows about the Air Raid. They were originally released back in 1992, and a few colorways dropped in 1993. This OG colorway will make it’s way into stores (again) sometime next month, retail $95. In October we posted info about the Air Raid’s that will release this Spring/Summer. We pretty much broke down the Air Raid’s history in the previous write up.

Check it out below:

The Air Raid originally hit the scene in 1992, and a few more colorways landed in 93. Back in the day the Air Raid was simply known as the “Criss Cross” shoe, and they were often compared to the Air Jordan 8 due to the similar strap units. The black/grey colorway is probably the most popular, but the “Peace Raid” series that Spike Lee help endorse is still highly sought after by many collector’s. The “Peace Raid” series came in two colorways (black & white). Their colorful midsoles paid homeage to African American art. “Live Together“ ”Play Together” (black pair) and “One World” “One Team” (white pair) that was featured on the back tabs made positive statements, plus they came with a peace sign located on the center of the strap. Next year Nike will release an all white non-OG “Peace Raid” with the same colorful midsole. via

HJL – When you click uplaod on the right hand side it’s a section that says

    “About Uploading”

Uploads usually take 1-5 minutes per MB on a high-speed connection, and converting your video takes a few minutes.

Your video is limited to 10 minutes and 1024 MB.

For more details about uploading videos, see the Help Center

Click the help center and download the quick YouTube program. It will allow to upload files larger than 100MB or upload many files at once.

That’s prob the case with your vid, it’s prob too larger for the basic upload version. Try it that way, it should work.

  25. Hyphy J lover says:

^^^^ Ok, thanks G-Roc, just wanted to make sure I wasn’t trippin’. Man, I love that Nike has been bringing back shoes from the 90s, but they kill it sometimes. Like when they did bring back the air raids a few years back, I got 5 of the colorways, however they put too many out at onceand they ended up at the outlets for like 20 bucks. The other thing is they were so saturated that it’s like ok big deal, where as if someone had a clean or deadstock pair from bak in the day and they hadn’t been retroed, I woulda had my jaw open. Once again……..good lookin’ with TSG site, keep it up

  26. G-Roc says:

^Did you read the above info about uploading big files to YouTube?

  27. hyphy J lover says:

^^^^ I tried a bunch of things, but no luck…… tommorw someone from my work is suppsoe to bring their laptop and post my vid for me. Thanx for being so helpfull, I appreciate it. Air Randy is a monster with his heated previews but your a savage. TSG never stops, and always amazes me =) G-Roc, what are your all time favorite top 3 or 5 pairs of kix??????

  28. G-Roc says:
