Nike Air Tech Challenge II Retro - Clay Blue/Tart

Writing by G-Roc on Thursday, 28 of February , 2008 at 11:37 pm

Nike Air Tech Challenge II

As we reported back in October, the Nike Air Tech Challenge II will return this year. The OG Andre Agassi classics will come back in their original highly sought after “Hot Lava” make up, and Nike will also release this colorway. The colorway is made up of white, clay blue, tart, and granite. Sources tell us that this colorway will release this Summer, and the Hot Lava ATC II should hit stores sometime in April.

Big ups to Mac for sending us the images and info!

Nah, but the 1st pair of ATC II’s are looking G-OO-D too.

I agree C Lo and I love the old Nike days. This is what I call classics.

I remember when they were talking about the Hot Lava ATC II’s on “”remember these?” on It’s the Shoes. They were talking about how dudes didn’t want to rock them back in the day cuz the color was too pinky. I would’ve posted it, but I couldn’t find it :(

These hot lavas are bogus, they turned the pink spraypaint white! Funny how everyone freaked about the ATC III’s not having the ball on the back, and said the yellow was off (it was almost a perfect match), but nobody even notices how much they watered these II’s down. I’ll wait until I see them in the stores to see if they put the pink back in. Otherwise no way. Come on Nike, do your homework!

I was jus looking through an old SC saw them in there and wondered if Nike had plans on retroing them. That’s brazy, I’m not a fan of these at all.

P.S Has anybody heard that a black based VI is suppose to drop in May?(Not related to the cd pack)

^Once I get more info it will be posted. I THINK it’s going to be something new, but everyone wants Infrared’s. I own them and don’t even wear them…smh

I had to have them my 12th grade year (2000/2001) and after that…well let’s say that got pushed in the sneaker closet.

Oh my god, I’m looking for those hot Lava since something like 15 years, I’m just like Carrie Bradshow from Sex and the city, except that I’m into sneakers !
It’s a great news, I just hope they will put the real pink on the spraypint…
Do everyone know if those will be also available in France in april ?

The picture on the hot lavas is off. If you see them in the stores, the spray paint is the original color, not watered down. Post a better picture next time.
