Nike Air Trainer 1 “Chlorophyl” Retro – 2008 Release
Back in May we reported on the Chlorophyll Air Trainer 1 retro, and we promised to keep you updated. At the time we thought they would release this year, but that’s not at all the case. Instead the Chlorophyll Air Trainer 1 is set to drop in January 2008. This exact OG colorway was retro’d in 2000 and then again in 2002 (both pairs seen after the jump). The 2008 AT1 retro will return true to the 2002 Chlorophyll AT1 make up. They feature the same checkered tongue and of course the colorway is the same.
The upcoming Chlorophyll AT1 pictured above was spotted in Sneaker Freaker issue 11 (2008 Releases). Unlike the pair that released in 2002, the 2008 pair should be much easier to obtain. via INDECS (NT)Â
This is great news for some and I’m sure Trainer fans can appreicate this release. Once we get more info it will be posted, so stay tuned!

Here’s a little extra info. Most people know Tinker was the man behind the Air Trainer in 1987. The objective was for the Air Trainer to be an all around shoe; cross training, basketball, tennis, casual, etc. IMO that’s what makes the Air Trainer so dope, thanks Tinker…I owe you one.
The pair that dropped in 2002/2003 and it was only released in Asia and I think a few other countries. One of the best colorways of the AT1 to date. Simple and Clean!
Color code: White/Black-Chlorophyl-Grey (I think Medium Grey)

I think these are nice.. machines! and that is allmost allways good… dont have any AT1 but think I will get some in the near future!

I picked up a pair of samples of these at goodwill for 10 bucks this past summer. Haha. I cant wait for them to actually come out because these run so small the size 9’s kill my feet.

shoe is sick but nike messing up the game with re releases like this this kills the pimpness of still having bo jacksons most people dont even know its a bo all the more reason nike is saturating and ruining the culturebut for all you 80s and 90s babies your like cool chlorophyl! Ill buy these and use them as an ash tray next to my og bo’s whats next same shoe with red instead? At least push diff shades of green and make a lil twist!
