Nike Air Yeezy – Confirmed 2009 Release Info
How much more Air Yeezy news can you handle? Today we have some good news for all the people that’s been waiting on some solid Air Yeezy release info. Let’s just say a little birdy (a very reliable birdy) gave us some insight in regards to the Air Yeezy’s. Three colorways have been confirmed; Black/Black, Zen Grey/Light Charcoal, and Net Liquid Lime. According to the info provided to us these colorways will drop in Summer 2009.

- release date (yes, I said RELEASE, as in they’re actually coming out) has been pushed back from 4Q 08/Holiday 08 to 1Q 09′ (March-@%+)
- this will be a NON-PROFIT shoe… meaning Yeezy is seeing no money off of sales, and I believe no money up front either. I want to say it’s all going to a selected charity.
- 3… THREE stores in the entire U.S. are getting them. Those stores have not been selected yet, but I would assume the Chi is going to get some love, like LA got for the McFly’s. No info on a global release yet.

why isn’t Nike dropping the purple ones with the red sole? those were the hottest colorway out of all that we’ve seen, IMO.
Looks like I will have to buy a plane ticket if these do drop because I doubt they would come to Dallas. Hope these do drop and sounds like they will. So La Ill be there in March!

Honestly I think Nike got pushed into a corner…There are soooooooooooooooooooooo many fakes floating around that consumers are demanding (even if its a limited drop) for these kicks…I see the joints in person (all but briefly on Ye) and they are incredible….Very different and not for everybody but I will definitly cop.

Oh how generous of Nike and Kanye to release the Air Cheeezy as a non-profit charity campaign. I bet a limited release to only 3 stores will really help that charity out! Maybe each store will get ten pairs… way to help someone out!?!?

If they wanted to donate money they should have done auctions because some knuckle heads would spend crazy doughnuts on these. Kanye wants to see how much these go for on the bay. It’s an ego boost for him, he’s an ego maniac. Im not hating but these really ain’t fresh, no innovation on them.
