You know Kanye has to be important to get his own Nike shoe because we all know Nike doesn’t roll like that. Here’s the official Nike images of the highly anticipated Air Yeezy.
By now we know you’ve probably heard the news about the Yeezy’s releasing in Fall instead of Spring. However, we have yet to hear that on our end. As far as we now they will still be available this Spring. Once we get more concrete info it will be posted. All three colorways after the jump…

Fall? I heard it was grey release in April black in May and tan in June but yea these pics make them look even better.

grey ones most def since they are the least gayest color. the black are ruin by that pink inside lining but i think might cop and the tans… hmmmmmm again the ligther pink lining on the inside.

After looking at the official pics for hours (lol) I’d have to say I like the Tan and Grey colorway the best. The Black color not so much. I still think the Black pair will look good on the foot with pants of course since everyone will probably wear these kicks with pants. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I think all 3 colors will look good on the feet with pants. What I can’t figure out is why in the HECK would Nike use the crappy Nike Sportswear box for this shoe? I know you can’t wear the box, but I always thought they would come in a very dope box. It would just make the package better and set apart from the everyday releases. Penny 2′s came in a brown Nike Sportswear box, and it just caught me off guard that the Yeezy’s would come in the same box. Kinda like a cop out to me, but that’s just me. Did I mention the retail price? For $200+ I can’t see why they couldn’t hook up a special box. Like my boy MT said, it’s not like they have to spend a lot of money making the shoe since most of the designs on the shoe is recycled. Look for a write up in tomorrow, or should I say today’s news. ^^I agree about the box thing….half the reason I went nuts getting Pusheads was because of that box. Ye shoulda had Murakami do some artwork for the box or something……woulda “kinda” helped sway people to pay $200+ for these…..and they straight ruined the black joints…..if they’d have dropped the black ones from the first leaked pics of the shoe, there woulda been RIOTS for em…..but these shits here?……eh, I can’t mess with any of em except the grey ones……and MAYBE the tan joints.

I think the Yeezys shoulda debuted wit the Chi-Town Bears CW (Navy Blue/Orange) Kanye’s hometown or the supposebly Blk/Red or the Tinker inspired Yeezys imo. Not these(up top)though cuz I don’t see myself losin sleep over em. I went to my local spot yesterday to peep out the 1/2 Cents & dude brought em out witta crushed box. WTF? Asked him politely if he had another pr. & said “No, these are limited.” So I walked outta there with 2 crispy Ben Franks still in my pocket. Truthfully, the sizin is kinda off on the ‘Cents. I tried to go .5″ down, but then its too freakin tight. I must confess that God prolly intended to give me uneven feet….my second(index)toe is longer than my big toe so therefore I can’t go a .5 sz down or up….LOL/SMH….Yea, I know I mentioned that I’m an anti-fusion/hybrid kicks copper, but its somethin bout these ‘Cents thats givin me second thoughts….Might just return to the spot to cop em w/banged up box or I could wait til Saturday & line up along side the teeny bopper hypebeasts…. In a “Lotus Position.” Peace & prosperity….
I’m wit FlyySkyy on this… The original colorway’s we saw looked better. Plus, since I’m not a hypebeast, I won’t be getter these, that’s good news for all you beasters out there…

The Nike Air Yeezy will release in Spring 2009. Three colorways will be available. The first in April 2009 will be the Zen Grey/LT Charcoal color way, followed this will be followed in May by a Black/ Black version, and in June with the final Net/Net color way
I guess I’ll finally jump in here and comment..I’ve seen all the new pics and drops and also the quick ebay auction and honestly…its hard to knock that fact that these are hot…At first I thought the print was cement, when I heard they were Y’s I was like damn thats fresh…people are killing the Y’s but they beast for elephant print…makes no sense..anyway..You are talking about Kanye West..this dude doesnt get enough credit for being as media savy as he is…one of the first to communicate through blogs and boards…A self proclaim internet addict…The orginal color ways were scrapped the minute thousands of fakes hit the net…The release was widen the minute fakes hit the net…The pricing has fallen the minute info hit the net (price will be $199 to $215 hasn’t been finalized yet)…In terms of the box…this is a power move on the part of Nike Sportwear in much the same way JB, Nike SB etc have there own boxes…Since the creation of Nike Sportswear last summer, they are quiety taking over as the giant hype machine in Beaverton..Again Nike is like an umbrella with many little companies underneath…From what I understand the major delay was which brand would release these…As far as the price….Do you realize the average Nike Sportwear Drop (Brown Box) is between $125 to $250??? Nike Half Cents, Nike Foams, Nike Kaws Current..im not even going through the Bespokes.. that will just reall skew the average much higher….People will cop..just like the half cents came and went before they even released…I dont even know the offical release date of the Cents thats how fast they sold out…and the price was anyway from $200 to $300 depending on where you got them…Much like these…very much worth the price…
Man I’m speechless. I’m so disappointed. The black ones were my favorite. They pink is killing me. They look like those girls spizikes.why not release them in the bred colorway. I know people said there’s fakes already in that colorway. But that shouldn’t stop anything at all. The price is steep. We were lead on.
