Nike Air Yeezy x Air Jordan 6 Sample – Doernbecher Auction
We know the Air Yeezy hype is over, but for the Doernbecher event, the hype is just beginning. Yesterday, we posted the videos with Chi McBride and Mark Smith talking about the Doernbecher project and the auction. They informed us that the Grammy edition and a sample pair of Yeezy’s will be up for auction at the event. They gave us a first look at the sample pair, and Mark noted that Knaye had never seen them before. As Chi McBride said, the Air Yeezy is sitting on Air Jordan 6 tooling. Thanks to KATC, we have a close up look at the samples.
These are 1 of 1′s, and they will auction them off at the Doernbecher event.

glad it is the III midsole, it would kind of be a bummer having to worry about yellowing soles with such an expensive shoe..
Man I like these better than the yeezys 3 Jordan midsole. Matter of fact I would trade all 3 of my yeezys for this pair. LOL! But I’m guessig the final bid on these will be around 25K!
these are tough
I’m pretty sure the Yeezy’s sit atop an Air Assault midsole, almost identical to the 3′s though. The 6 looks good on there but I like the original yeezy’s better.
