Nike Basketball x Transformers Pack
Nike has partnered up with Hasbro for a fully licensed collaboration for the comic book sensation turned box office hit, Transformers. The collaboration features three models inspired by characters within the film, the ‘Soundwave’ Nike Zoom Sharkalaid, ‘Bumblebee’ Zoom Fun Police, and ‘Megatron’ Zoom Flight Club respectively.
First, the Zoom Sharkalaid represents Soundwave, one of the leaders of Decepticon tandem with a blue suede upper and silver, red, and yellow accents of the tape recorder. The Zoom Sharkalaid will have an expected retail price of $100. Next, the Zoom FP (Fun Police) represents the “little brother” of the Autobots, Bumblebee. The transformer takes the shape of a car which explains the yellow patent leather upper and clean silver, blue, and red hints to highlight the upper.
The Bumblebee FP will bear a $100 price tag. Lastly, representing the father of the Decepticons, Megatron, is the Zoom Flight Club. Retail is expected to be $125. Eminent features include a translucent sheath over a mesh upper and durable toecap with neon green and red accents. Each model comes packaged inside a toy box like carton with Transformer graphics, character profiles, and hooks for suspending the boxes. A limited release is set for July 10th to Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the Philippines, and all stateside House of Hoops locations. via SC
