Nike Dunk High – Watch the Throne Customs
To commemorate one of the most important albums in hip-hop history, ROM designed a custom Dunk High dedicated to Jay-Z and Kanye West’s Watch the Throne. Coming correct with a “all black everything” fresh code, the blacked out upper is accented with minimal grey and gold detailing that is ties in with album artwork that was originally designed by Riccardo Tisci, the creative designer for the French fashion brand, Givenchy. On the right and left toebox, we see MM and XI, representing the year, 2011, from which the album debuted. The gold leaf stitching on the heel with I/II on the inside represents the number produced. The midpanel sports a lux woodgrain impression and WTT is seen on the right shoe and the customs are topped off with gold tipped laces. Adding more to details there is also a message covertly placed throughout the design. Check out ROM to place your bid on a pair!

“Sheep skin coats. I silence the lamb.
Do you know who I am Clarice?
No cheap cologne whenever I *shh-shh*
Success never smelled so sweet”
Aside from Adele’s album, GREATEST ALBUM OF THE YEAR!
If I was an engineer for the album, I would’ve taken these over a Rolex…
maybe
^^^I agree. A dope album.
These are nice. I would’ve went with platinum colored accents rather than the gold, to represent the Roc’s platinum plaques.
Isnt the gold accents relating to album cover??
Jeeeeeeezus these are beautiful!
