Ya know, I got a few things to say about people not liking it when people don’t skate in the SB’s or if they hype a shoe up. First, if you do skate in your SB’s more power to you! 2nd, dunks were made for basketball to begin with, and I highly doubt all of the people that wear dunks play bball in them. I know I don’t! 3rd, not everyone likes plain all the time.

I don’t see basketball players getting mad about people wearing Jordan’s or AF1’s causually. Plus, there will always be special edition shoes that the shoe collector’s and hypebeast will always want. If your skating in your sb’s, that means you will tear them to shreds. Why would you want a special edition shoe just to rip the hell up? Go to DTLR and get some DC’s on sale for $29. Just because a shoe was intended for one thing doesn’t mean we have to follow the rules. I have a few pair of Stan Smith’s I’ve never played tennis in, am I wrong for that too? I must be wrong for not playing football in my Deion’s or Barry Sander’s as well? I don’t run track in my air max either! Point is, if a person wants to buy a pair of shoes for whatever reason, so be it. Who’s to say anything different? Main reason I prefer SB’s over other shoes is because of how hard they are to get. There is only 1 store in my city that sales Nike SB’s (2 in the state). Versus the hundred’s of stores that get Jordan’s. Even the LS Jordan’s still hit about 10-15 stores here. Then the “kind of” exclusive dunks hit about 8-10 stores. No hate, no disrespect, just a few words.
