Nike Dunk Mid SB Sample – Donatello?
Last year Nike SB introduced the Mid SB to their footwear collection, and so far they’ve released a variety of colorways. Catalog pics of the 2008 Nike SB line up has been posted on the net. As always it gives us a early look at what to expect next year. Sample pics have slowly started to leak, and here’s a look at a Mid SB that will drop in 08.
The colorway features a combination of baroque brown/radiant green with a touch of purple. They definitely favor the guy with the bo & brains from the group “TMNT”- Donatello. Currently there is no word on where the inspiration for this colorway came from, but Donatello does come to mind. On the other hand some might think of the “Hulk” when looking at these upcoming Mids. Once we get more info it will be posted, so stay tuned for more updates. These Mid SB’s are set to release in Summer 2008. via NSB
They could easily get dubbed as Donatello’s, but what do you think? Donatello or Hulk? VOTE!!!!
Never was a Mid guy, but these are nice!
I wish they were lows or hi’s, but you can’t get your way all the time huh? That’s a sign of the only child syndrome…lol
If anybody has more info please drop a line. Donatello’s…I can hear people calling them that already. I remember when the De La Hi’s dropped, some people were calling them Ninja Turtles.
Nike SB 2008 releases are looking pretty good thus far. I’m looking foward to the Tiffany socks

People been complaining about the purple on these, but I like em. I’ll probably cop them. Sure they can also be called Hulks but we already have the Hulk Dunks so why have a Hulk mid or something, right? Donatello it is.

Niceeeeeeee. I was just looking at that long Prod and Diamond Supply interview and I hit refresh and see this. I’m most def lovin the colors on these mids. I like them as is and the green is just sickkkkkkk. Donatellos all the way baby. Sorry G-Roc I love me some mids dude.

2ND COMMENT ON TSG. IT LOOKS LIKE TOO MUCH BROWN, BUT THEN AGAIN BROWN IS GOOD. I LIKE THAT SHADE OF GREEN. IT’S BETTER THAN SOME OF NIKE’S OTHER GREENS.
THE GREEN IS DIFFERENT FROM THE NINJA TURTLES, BUT I CAN SEE HOW PEOPLE ARE CALLING THEM DONATELLO’S. I’M STILL EFFIN ABOUT MIDS, BUT I DO LIKE THE COLORS USED. HOPEFULLY I WILL SEE MORE SB’S I LIKE IN 2008.

I like where you going with it G (Dontello Dunks sounds crazy European LoL), but the street will call them the Hulks…Plus with the next Hulk Movie dropping next year (I think Memorial Day) the Hype will be crazy….I been feeling the mids lately, some of the most orginal drops from 07 where mids. (Lineolum, Peacocks, Guns and Roses and EMB’s)

Yeah, I feel you. If the brown was denim that would be sick. If Nike SB does ever decide to drop a Dunk Hi with Mean Green and Denim you can except for that Dunk to get almost more hype than the Tiffany’s. I don’t like mids at all, and I really like the colorway on the EMB’s, but I just can’t get with the mids.

I think the Tiffany socks drop in Spring 08.
They will also release eBay Dunk socks in July or August, I can’t remember the exact month.

the green is not the exact color of Donatello
and it needs brown
they should put donatello’s face on the side of one of them

uhh not a fan of mids. and not into the whole ’sb hype’.
