Nike House of Hoops Opening in China
Nike and Footlocker teamed up to create a chain of stores named “House of Hoops”. The House of Hoops stores only carries Nike, Jordan Brand, and Converse basketball products. Exclusive footwear is also available that can’t be found at other retailers. Harlem, New York was the first location to get a House of Hoops store, and China is on deck. I wonder if it will stay open after the olympics are over. Seems like Nike is giving China a lot of special treatment lately. I didn’t realize a communist government wanted their citizens wearing such Westernized goods? Seems like China these days is more like one big national company rather than a government. They dont have to use guns to take over the world, their factories and industry have already done that.
