April 15, 1947 marks the day Jackie Robinson tore down the color barrier in major league baseball. So to honor him, Nike spun up a twist to the Air Griffey Max Swingman Remix. The shoe features the colorway of the Brooklyn Dodgers as well as the #42 stitched on the heel. The arch side of the shoe features a sliding image of Jackie and 4-15-47 is seen on the insole. Thank you Mr.Robinson for everything you did for the game of baseball.

As far as distribution, MT over at Corporate always seems to get his hands on exclusives and he sent us these images. No word on when these kicks will drop, but once we find out it will be posted.

How did these kicks stay under the radar this long?
