Nike Lunar New Year Pack “Year of the Ox”
This upcoming year the Chinese Animal Zodiac will be represented by the Ox. As usual Nike caters to this annual occasion by creating sneakers that’s inspired by the Chinese New Year. Nike made a Year of the Ox Air Max 1Premium and Blazer Premium CL. Both kicks have inspiration from the Ox which includes characters on the tongue translated to English means “perseverance” or “hard work”. Denim is used on tongues and the area of eyelets. And a cow image is featured on the back heel. via Kix-Files
The Lunar New Year Pack “Year of the Ox” Pack will be available in China soon. No word on if the pack will release in the states.
Looking forward to seeing these in the flesh, the AM1’s would definatley be on my list if it wernt for the red plastic looking heel tab
