Nike Lunar Runners for Spring 2010
Like running in any of the Nike Lunar model’s? Wish there were some improvements on some or curious about any new up and coming additions? If you do, Nike’s Lunar Running series for Spring 2010 may have what you’re looking for. This coming spring, Nike will add the LunarSwift + and the Lunar Elite + to the series. As well as improve on the LunarRacer + now called, Lunar Racer + 2.

Nike’s Lunar series has been very successful. With new models coming and going, it’s only fit to keep it coming. Weighing in at a 10.2 oz, the newly announced LunarSwift will include a dual foam midsole with the Dynamic Support system. This technology constantly adapts to your stride, which in turn, delivers the right amount of comfort. Basically, it delivers cushioning support from the lateral and medial side of the heel, than down to the toes. It has a seamless upper in a similar capacity to the already released LunarGlide +. This is a key feature for all you long-distance runners. The shoe also incorporates a very breathable, more-open, toe mesh.
Next up, the LunarElite (Did you know that this shoe is based on the heritage of the Zoom Elite and the Nike Waffle outsole design?) which also implements the Dynamic Support system, but sheds some height off the midsole. That helps in reducing the weight to 9.7 oz, which in turn, makes this a lightweight runner. This model, unlike the the LunarSwift, incorporates Fly-Wire technology for a lighter and snugger fit. Just like the LunarSwift, it has the same toe box mesh, but it extends to upper side panels on this model
Last but not least, the newly improved LunarRacer 2. The shoe stays with a lot of the same elements that made it popular. The new updates include a better stability, performance fit and comfort. How did they manage to rejuvenate the three you ask? It now has a better molded arch and takes the inside overlays out on top (similar to the LunarGlide) to make it have a seamless upper now. Fly-Wire support for a lighter and snugger lock-down on the in-step. The heel counter is now T-shaped. For added durability on the heel and mid-foot area of the sole, BRS Rubber is implemented (This is a Nike brand rubber constructed with a high content of carbon. It makes it durable, while providing additional traction for the wearer).

As you can see from above, Nike has something special here and they know it. The look and ever-changing technology in their Lunar series is a notation of what Nike is known for, Progression. I really hope they continue this trend, not only with these, but with all their products.

I liked all three but if I had to choose I would take the lunarRacer 2. Vagrant, keep holding it down for the runners.

You knew this didn’t mean anything as you wrote it down. But you still printed it because Mr. Nike said so. Shame on you!
I think nike should of kept the lunar lites the same and not make them hevy but if thats the way nik wnats to go then good on them.
