Nike SB August 2008 Sneaker Line Up
Last month we reported on some of Nike SB’s August sneaker releases, but today we take a look at the full line up. The August ‘08 line up is made up of the Un-Futura Dunk High, Tie Dye Dunk Mid, P-Rod 2 High, Sea Crystal Blazer, and more. The Yellow Ochre Classic features a 3M swoosh, which adds some flavor to the simple silhouette. These kicks will be available this month, if not already. Just got my dunk highs today. Look real good in person. I thought that canvas part would look cheap, but it didn’t (canvus is the back top part and the part where the laces go through). I org. went to get the P. Rod highs, but the back mid-sole has this pink looking hue to it. Like it was red and somebody painted it white. Not saying they did, that’s just what it looked like. It was enough to ruin it for me. The mid tie dyed pair is ok, didn’t like the tie dyed laces. The sea-crystals are fresh, but I didn’t mind passing on those. Waiting for the bright cactus blazers to drop next month. All in all, good month from Nike SB. None had crazy hype, so you should be able to get a hold of any of these.
Will be getting the ‘Un-Futura’ highs, unfortunalty my local SB shop isnt getting them so will have to order them online. The prod highs look interesting but will have to see ‘em in the flesh first, was looking at the blazers yesterday and decided to pass.
